Recently I was facing some issue related to pickup and it's tone..I have squire affinity sss model and tone control for bridge pickup was not available and bridge pickup was sounding too much harsh extra bright. Also I wanted to upgrade my bridge pickup from single coil to humbucker. so I have consulted with guitar maintenance tech guy from hyderabad and he suggest me some pickup (pickup res 4.9k,5.6K,12.3k). I have shared my scheme with them which you have explained your hss strat pickup configaration. But they totally messed up. Then I ordered soldering kit tools from amazon and I have wired totally myself.(as I am electrical engineer at power plant ,different drawing scheme wiring I can understand easily ). Only difference is I have used normal 2 pole 5 way switch instead of super switch. 500k volume pot..250k pot with parallel 2nos resistor 470k for single coil neck and middle,0.047uf cap for single coil .....500k pot for bridge.. After upgrading this way,Now I got some decent tone...but For bridge humbucker pos1 sound is decent only when tone2 nob is between 2to 3 whenever I tried to roll up the tone above 4 0r 5 it's sounds too bright and harsh high end. also I have feel and get some muddy tone from low 6 and 5 th string.. Is it due to capacitor value or capacitor position or different issue?

You will definitely want the 4 pole 5 way switch to replicate my HSS wiring.
Guys, this is interesting, but I don't get to watch it for a long time, as everytime I tune in, it makes me going to play guitar :)
