My band (West Chester University) performed in exhibition at BOA finals and Blue Springs was the most amazing band there! We were all routing for them so hard. They deserved first place.
This whole MANS sang an excellent vocal solo and you thought that was it, but NO! Then he whips out a whole damn VIOLIN! I saw this live at BOA St. Louis and all the women around me were screaming! He best be getting only the finest bitches for this I stg!
I was a prop parent pushing out the generator for the sound board on this show. I will never forget the fun band season with the GR from a different angle.
@@shawnbutler8471 definitely. I saw you all perform live this year. Im part of The Lewis Cass Marching Kings, we got 2nd in class A this year. Our first go at BOA Grand nats in school history
hIGH SCHOOL? we dont have competitions like these in pa. we probably do half the work (visuals, endurance, and sets) than you guys. it looks and sounds like DCI T^T
EkhoGaming loved your show, going into finals at grand nats massing we were next to you guys and you all were so nice and funny literally the highlight of the day for me hah everyone was so nice... well highlight may have been first ever finals announcement, but talking to you all was a close second you all were very respectful and kind to us
it really is amazing, im in the best highschool bamd in new mexico, and we’re going to be going to boa next year as my first year on drumline, crazy stuff
PA has a few bands who tend to do reasonably well in BOA, most notably Norwin and Kiski Area, I believe. But BOA grand nationals finalists (and BOA San Antonio finalists) are a cut above.
the Blue Springs rendition of Time is amazing... Park Vista's is really good as well but what I especially like about this version is that it's one case where I feel like they actually did a really good job of balancing the vocals with the winds; you can hear the vocals coming through the winds but it's not so loud that it overpowers them, making it sound incredible
Hey, could anyone who marched this brilliant show or someone with a really good musical ear let me know what the opening flute choir excerpt is from or if it's original? I swear I'd heard it before but could be my mind playing tricks on me or I don't remember where I had heard it before. Thanks!
i still feel so accomplished every time i see our show. even if it was almost a year ago
Yo idk if you still in it but if you are dude this is aweosme what you guys do
I saw this band perform in St. Louis and in Indy. They were spectacular.

West Chester oh my school is near Lakota East
6:38 still gets me every time, best moment of boa
Jack Fair that's exactly what I thought. I cried so much when I heard him.
Jack Fair The singer’s name is Sam Aubuchon, he’s amazing and you should check him out

Brandon Hager it's funny, because he's gay in real life.
@@nathan-kv9gy then he deserves only the FINEST of men
I was at BOA St Louis for my band, and this was one of my favorite shows there. Totally in my top 10 shows for 2018 that I watched.
I love this show. I was sitting two rows down from this camera view lmao
The visual program here is just off the charts

8:24.... My favorite Moment of all BOA shows this year
Agreed... It was so fun playing that part of the show!
@@shawnbutler8471 It reminded me of the group break dance in this year's SCVG show and the Bluedevil's INK show.
Yeah... It also hinted a little bit of carolina crown 2018

7:24 the basses never got praised for our feature which was pretty much 100% perfect for this show
You got muted by the clapping. Oof
“To the Side” is an excerpt from Caroline Shaw’s Partita for 8 voices
