II lived right next to this campground for one year while teaching at Sneads High School. I rented a cabin on Lake Seminole near the bridge. My landlords were the nicest people and they raised quail. I was too young to realize the paradise this was. This was my first real year teaching and that was a handful. Thanks for doing this video John.
We enjoy your videos & have stayed at some of the places you've reviewed. You haven't been off. Good job! We just enjoyed a 5 day stay at Three Rivers. It's a great little campground. In this video you mention the bad road. I spoke with park staff and found out the road was damaged after the 2018 hurricane decimated the area. The park was closed for 2 years! It took 1 1/2 to clear the damaged trees and the logging trucks hauling them out was the main cause of the damage. Before the hurricane, the park was fully canopied & had buffers between the campsites. They're hoping to have the road repaired/replaced by the end of 2022.
Haha. At the remote 3 Rivers Park site your network connection was far better than my home connection from Cox Communications in Pensacola!. Nice review. How's the fishing?
I would like check this park out after watching your video and you mentioned birding. I'm a birder. I think I passed that park just couple of weeks ago when I rode my bicycle 200 miles at Panhandle.
The roads were not the best when I visited but I don’t recall low hanging limbs to worry about. You can always try the ranger station and see what they say: (850) 482-9006
I do believe there are handicap campsites available. I am not sure the level of ADA accessibility in other areas. I would recommend calling the park to confirm any other specific questions: 850-482-9006
This park was decimated by Hurricane Michael just a few short years ago. Totally decimated. The roads were in great shape before the storm. Over 80 percent of the parks forest were destroyed by the storm. Before the storm all the roadways were covered by a thick canopy of tall lush forest green. All of that was destroyed. But it's a park that will renew itself in the coming years.

Thanks for the insights as to why the park and roads are in their current condition. It's too bad this happened. Thanks again!
Man that road looked rough, I just keep thinking of everything flying around in the camper.
It was a rough road for sure. Surprising for a Florida State Park. Most are well kept.

The internet was surprisingly good. I didn't get a chance to fish, but there was nice fish cleaning station provided and other people out on the lake.
Looks like a nice park. You just have to wonder why they let the roads get so worn down. Thanks for sharing. Lynn and Danny
There is a discrepancy between parks in term of infrastructure. Not sure why. Thanks for the comment.
Hurricane Michael destroyed the forest and the roads. The roads will be rebuilt.

It was great seeing the bald eagle for sure!
We have a 45' Class A. Do you think the roads or overhead trees would be too bad to try this?

Deos the Bath Site have showers?
I can’t recall. We visited in the depths of the pandemic and were not using the public showers at the time. I am thinking there were showers.
Someday they'll get funding to repair the road from the hurricane damage. Torreya State Park nearby suffered the same fate unfortunately
Right, just a matter of time until the roads get fixed. Thanks for the comment!
Is it handicap friendly

Thanks for the background on the park and hurricane damage.
