The car you started with was an absolute gem. We here on the east coast dream of finding cars like that. Everything that old is a rusted mess unless it lived its life in a garage! Thanks for the video it was great!
I’m in the process of buying a low mile, stock GSR sedan very soon and this video basically covers everything that I want to do in the future. Saving this as inspiration. You all did a great job with the OEM+ look!
Loved these when they came out... nearly bought one and wished I was able. I have a buddy who had like a 92 or something and he beat the piss out of that car daily and it never failed him.
The Acura Inegtra? I haven't a car like that since watching the original Fast And Furious movie! Wow! Thanks for bringing that car back. It reminds me of the one street race that took place in some area of California. I don't remember what area it was filmed in during the first movie.
@JustDriven i absolutely agree. Just seeing the thumbnail for the video just made me mentally feel like i traveled back in time to the year of 2001 when the first Fast & Furious.
We think this one was parked in an underground parking space. There was some oil stains in the paint over multiple panels. It explains the cleaner interior and very little fade.
@@JustDriven sadly no... Cars have gone through the ringer from regulations. They've become safer, more efficient, but in the process have kind of lost part of their soul. In the 90s cars were just that, simple but able to grab passion from all walks of life. F1 is a shining example of this... Listen to the cars now (meh), then compare it to the V10 era. It's like replacing Mozart with elevator music.
You're not wrong. Most of us think the soul is just there, it's just sadly out of the financial reach of many. The Japanese are working hard at making more efficient vehicles and using active aero, hybrid engines as power, and braking as a means to recharge the hybrid system have not become financially viable options for a Civic or Integra. Even the performance versions of those vehicles are far more expensive than they once were. So, maybe it's less about the car's losing their soul, and more about how much a good soul costs these days?
@@JustDriven I could 100% agree with that. But I do find most manufacturers leaning towards such a bland driving experience. Toyota and Honda have been keeping the dream alive, but almost $50k for a civic is insane. I think Toyota nailed it with the GR Corolla, different price points from affordable to nutty for a new car.
I subbed and 👍 Car is awesome 👌 My son loved it ! He's all into cars Always telling me about all the specs and designs he loves . He's 17, and now it's his turn to drive. Hope i can find a good starter car for him . Appreciate the inspiration ✌️ 😎 👍
Junkyard?? TF?! This car is clean!!! Come up here in rust belt and let talk junk yard Hondas/acuras. Go sit down man!! Too clean. Idk who would junk that clean car. Glad you saved her.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
@JustDriven Thanks for the feedback. A few years ago, I put an aftermarket car back on my 1994 GSR and have regretted it ever since. I'm looking to return the car to 100% stock. It's the only thing missing to achieve my goal.
Yah, sorry, we kept the wheel for any potential new owner. All stock parts would go with this GSR in case they wanted to restore them and rock the car stock.
I had this greatest small sports car at that time
🤘🏼
I had a 97 GSR, that car was awesome! It took everything I threw at it, and still got almost 35 miles to the gallon. Peak Honda here.
They are amazing machines.
Thank you for saving a classic. These cars are loved by many and getting so much harder to find.
These will always be loved by us here. We are happy to save any classic.
What a beauty talk about polishing a diamond in the rough 💎🖤, OEM/OEM+ is definitely the way to go for any 90’s Honda and Acura 🙌🏽
We agree!
I had a '96 Integra, non-vtec. I loved that car. Watching this video is stirring up some old feelings
We are happy to hear you watched our video and felt something or took something from it.
The car you started with was an absolute gem. We here on the east coast dream of finding cars like that. Everything that old is a rusted mess unless it lived its life in a garage! Thanks for the video it was great!
Yah, we are fortunate here on the West Coast to have far fewer rusted vehicles. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Brings a tear to my eye 🥹 absolutely phenomenal work done! Exquisite job sir! 👏 💎
Thank you so much!
Wow! Beautiful work
Thank you so much!

Thank you so much! Good luck with your future build.
Awesome build!
Thank you!
I still love my GS about to garage it for the winter. Great video
That's awesome! Yah, you need to keep these cars preserved!
Solid base compared to what you've accomplished. Keep up the good work, you've mastered your craft.🎉
Thank you!
I miss my 1995 Acura Integra GSR. These cars were just fun.
They are so much fun!
Nice save great car would love one
It's so much fun!
Loved these when they came out... nearly bought one and wished I was able. I have a buddy who had like a 92 or something and he beat the piss out of that car daily and it never failed him.
They are hard to beat. We would love to do a 92 also, those were fun too!
wow, that paint job really got woken up by the color sanding and buffing! nice work overall.
Yah, it just needed all that garbage in the paint to get removed.
Very Clean! Great Job!
Thank you!
Thank you for saving that Integra💯
It was all our pleasure!
I hope I can do the same with the Civic I'm picking up this Sunday.
Heck yah! Good luck!
what a find! it turned out beautiful
We are so happy with how it turned out.
What a nut. Proud to own a 2001 gsr
Heck yah!
Nicely done! 👍👍
Thank you!

We like the looks of this one a bit more than Ja Rule's car.
@JustDriven i absolutely agree. Just seeing the thumbnail for the video just made me mentally feel like i traveled back in time to the year of 2001 when the first Fast & Furious.
I got a 97 Honda prelude I saved from sitting in front of a sap tree in front of my friends yard for 5 years.
That's awesome! What other cars does your friend have out there?
A gsr without any torn leathers is unheard of in the community 😅. That thing was mint and left outside for a bit to make it look beat up 😅😅😅
We think this one was parked in an underground parking space. There was some oil stains in the paint over multiple panels. It explains the cleaner interior and very little fade.
that was AWESOME!
Heck yah! Thank you.
First car was a 92 man I loved every minute driving that thing. Really wanna go test drive the new Gen to see how it performs.
Two of the guys in the shop have both owned 2nd Gen Integras.
It was definitely touched
The GSR expert has spoken.
wow looks straight off the showroom floor!
It sure is nice but more importantly it's fun!
90s was the greatest time for Japanese cars, each one unique and basic with tons to play with
Do you think we will ever see another generation similar to the 90s in JDM cars?

Honda has been playing it safe for years.
Speechless 👍.
Wow, thanks

That's so great! We are glad you two were able to enjoy this video together. I'm sure he will love whatever you pick out for him.
beautiful...
Thank you! Cheers!
That sounds like an awesome fleet! We are honored we gave you some cues for your builds.
I own a 97 GSR obd1 body all black on black GSR leather I freaking love that car best car I ever had 😢
You've got great taste!
@ I had it back in 2010 it was a really great car drove it everywhere and it was fun
Time to find another.
Those GSR are gems like the 99-00 Honda SI, they are hard to find now and days In one piece or non molested.
Near impossible.
Nice build engine cover red looks like type r 👍
Yah, the valve cover was from the USDM Integra Type R.
Damn makes me miss mines.
Time to find another one!
Lovely
Thanks!
My buddy's and them prob jiggle at least 50 of these in the early 2000s in the bay area 😁 . My boys got me a fresh 2000 gsr silver wilt blk interiors.
🤘🏼
Beautiful gsr. Same year but mine sonic. I have the apex ws 2 exhaust.
We love the Integra. For some reason the GSR doesn't get the same love the Type R gets, but we can't get enough of it.
@ true that. I think only because Type R was limited. My gsr have 235k
I miss my 4 door GSR
Ooooo a 4 door would be fun!
I remember seeing this car for sale on Facebook Marketplace in SoCal.
You're absolutely right!
Some people get all the luck haha. I've been looking for a Teggy in socal for a year now with little luck
There are not many. It pays to have lots of people looking for you!
I miss my 93 civic.
That's a great chassis!
So sick
Thanks!
love it
🤘🏼
Junkyard find!? Man I wish it was 2015 again. I’d buy up all GSRs and civics
No, one owner find. Knowing what we know now, we would be buying cars and houses like it was going out of style!
@ forrrrreal!!! 😂😂😂…😢
Junkyard?? TF?! This car is clean!!! Come up here in rust belt and let talk junk yard Hondas/acuras. Go sit down man!! Too clean. Idk who would junk that clean car. Glad you saved her.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
It was no longer loved and we were happy to have it. There is always someone in SoCal searching for an unloved Honda.
Now if you could find and restore a 4door
gsr
..that's a unicorn
We would love to do a 4 door.
Awesome build and awesome parts were used. I just don’t think I’d define it as OEM+
Thank you! What would you define this build as?
👍👍
🤘🏼
Wow.
Thanks!
I had a 2001. Regret selling it all the time.
Maybe it's time to find another one?
i was tripping was like why is Peter from deadpool saving an integra
Peter stunt double!
I'm surprised you didn't have to change the motor mounts or Rear Trail Arm bushings
The previous owner must have replaced them at some point.
One clean ass Teggy!
Thank you!
👏👌
🤘🏼
@@JustDriven My dream car...
You've got great taste.
only you guys could find something like this....i need more unabated free time.
It helps when we have so many people keeping an eye out for us.
Looks like my old Integra. I opted to add the ITR wing and lip kit but that thing looks great.
We love the classic ITR look, but for this we wanted to try something a little more low key.
And here in ct all we got is rust buckets with bondo lmfao
It's tough to find something from the East Coast that's not rusted. We always look for the dry weather areas for any older vehicles.
If this car is 4 sale... I'd like to purchase the integra...
Sorry it's not for sale.
I want to do the same restoration and build…but in my neighborhood…you can’t have nice things 😢
Sorry to hear. Maybe quietly squirrel aside some parts for your build. When you move away then you can get started.
Where my dawgs at?
Not sure. Where was the last time you saw them?
Thought this video was from 'Eric The Car Guy' youtube channel.
We would love to have the same amount of subscribers.
Do you still have the original exhaut? If so, is it still in working condition?
We no longer have it.
@JustDriven Thanks for the feedback. A few years ago, I put an aftermarket car back on my 1994 GSR and have regretted it ever since. I'm looking to return the car to 100% stock. It's the only thing missing to achieve my goal.
That is going to be a difficult find. We hope you are able to finally track one down. Maybe you'll find a GSR or a Type R selling their stock setup.
You guys ever take cars in to get looked at?
What do you mean?
are those 16 inch rims?
Wheel Specs are 15x8 +35
By "dent guy" do you mean paintless dent repair specialist? 🙂
janitor = master of the custodial arts
dent guy = pointless dent repair specialist
I'd take a clean old GSR over these modern Hondas any day.
Everyone here would agree.
a small front lip will do❤❤
We thought about adding a lip! Great minds think alike.
What rims are those?
Wheel Specs are Volk TE37 15x8 +35
how the hell did you guys find a bone stock gsr headed for the junkyard...no way
It helps to have friends keeping their eyes peeled.
@ man I wish I could find one that clean lol. Good work on the resto!
Sell me the old wheel plz
No thanks.
@ cool was joking it would be too expensive for them to get ship to me anyway. Love you’re video have a good day 🙂
The original wheel*
Yah, sorry, we kept the wheel for any potential new owner. All stock parts would go with this GSR in case they wanted to restore them and rock the car stock.
Still sounds like a lawnmower.
Good one!
Who cares? Still one of the greatest motors and cars of all time
@@DanielFantini Exactly. No one cares about a honda.
@@theoaguilar1941 that’s why they took over World Cup and sent Cletus McFarland packing right? You’re a dumb troll bro fuck outa here
Same garbage played out wheels everyone uses 🤡
Garbage wheels? Interesting take.
🥱😴 boring
We will find a way to move on from your review. Somehow.
This is not a junkyard car . I dont believe that for a second. Good for views tho 👍
