    I visited this place in the late 80s, while on a volunteer work project to Haiti. Took many pictures back then. Nice to compare my pictures to this video. Good job !!

    Great shots! Did you run into any issues bring your drone into the country? Anything you needed to have before going through customs, etc?

      Thanks! No real problems for us, but you may want to have $20 in your pocket just in case with customs :)

    HiPureSonic, I'm Luca, a french journalist, working for a website called Jetlag (www.demotivateur.fr/jetlag). With the team, we would like to edit a short video about the Citadelle Laferrière, and we loved your video, some images are really cool ! I would like to know if I can use some parts of your video to create a short film/video about this strange statue and post it on our page and social network ? Of course, you will be credited on screen and tag on it. Cheers !

    How it was built in 1806 without technology on a pick of mountain?
    Someone give me a answer.
    This country did not have any technology after they became independent

      @suedecomponent8931 5 лет назад +10

      People don't need modern technology to build bulinds like this, just look at ancient works by the Inca, Mesopotamians, Egyptians, Romans. It's ingenuity, will and manpower.

      Annelle E How could you ask that? Did people ask the same about Roman and Greek buildings or Medieval European Castles?

    • @DonaldDucksRevenge
      @DonaldDucksRevenge 5 лет назад

      Obviously it was the revolutionaries and their descendants who built it, which explains their present-day mud-huts and mud-cakes and other proud achievements since "independence"

      You white supremacists believe only you are smart.Yes,we Haitians built it with our knowledge and technology.Now you are calling my country shithole.You shit there too.One day day we will keep your mouth shut when we restore our beloved and great country.We are a great nation that's, why we are hated.Of course our land is suffering but it will change.King Henri Christophe was a great king.He built this wonder.No white people was there.Blacks built this just like the pyramids in Egypt.You can't be lying to us no more with your false science.

      Like most citadelle and palace around the world. From a distant past, from lost civilisation. You can research starforts, tartaria and the mudflood. They are the same all around the world. From mountain top India to deep amazonian jungle. Many are discovered every year. Many questions remains...
