11.11.2019 - VN24 - Rotator salvage - "The Beast" helps fire engine out of the ditch

VN24 - Selm / Germany - Rotator "The Beast" had to help with the rescue of a slipped down fire engine. Before that there was a fire at a country butcher's shop on a remote farm (see video before). A turntable ladder of the fire brigade had to make way for an oncoming vehicle on the small driveway and got onto the unpaved side strip. There the turntable ladder got stuck and threatened to fall into a ditch. Kollmer, a special towing company, arrived with two special towing vehicles, one of them a rotator. In a difficult action, the fire truck had to be lifted at the front and the rear to pull it back onto the road. Additional difficulties were caused by a power line hanging directly above the ditch...
