Finally someone demonstrating the monster scooter parts 9ah battery upgrade with wiring harness included! All these videos on RUclips with guys doing crazy experimentations with so called battery upgrades. Go with THIS ONE!! I’m assuming g range increased a bit? They said 28% increase...that’s good enough if true Thx for the vid man
It came with 3 3pin 2 wire harnesses. www.monsterscooterparts.com/3-pin-2-wire-battery-wiring-harness-razor.html?gclid=CjwKCAiA4o79BRBvEiwAjteoYLcJTWs0wcUvkgbCgoLQ0B5jJVWbmHIGmHrsMOTNznFK9gHqW9EJyBoCV4kQAvD_BwE
It's gave me about an extra 10mins or so I guess you can say it added an extra mile or less. But with my girl who is much lighter weight it seems like it added an extra 30mins of ride time. A few more miles maybe 2 or 3.
Simple straight forward video, thank you. All the reviews I read said that the original batteries died quickly. Although you modestly increased the range do you feel that these batteries will last longer? Do you have to remove the cover every time you charge the unit? Did you use the original charger?
Your welcome no problem. I can't honestly say if they last longer because I've only took the scooter out 4 or 5 times since the battery change but it seemed a little less range than the original range just by a little. It also alot depends on the weight of the driver. And no it still charges the same way through the charger port on the side by the off/on switch and yes with the original charger.
@@nycunboxingguyunboxings2368 Thank you. I have difficulty walking and was wondering if you think this would go slow enough to ride when my wife is walking our dog? Do you think the range would increase at a slow pace?
It goes slow at first when you slightly twist the throttle but it's very sensitive though and it tends to fly out as soon as it goes past the very first part of the twist so I wouldn't recommend it for riding alongside somebody walking. And for sure the range doesn't increase when going slower it's about the same. There are alot of hills where I'm at and hills and inclines affect the battery life the most it seems so far.
@@nycunboxingguyunboxings2368 I found this out when doing a throttle test with the front wheel attached only by the right dropout (the left side of the fork is bent backwards so that the left axle wont come anywhere near to fitting in the dropout) and nearly got dragged while standing alongside it.
Its 11 inches across and 15 1/2 inches long. And about 7 inches deep. But it does hold alot. I use it to make small grocery runs all the time. Even for heavy stuff the basket is good.
Thanks for the vid! Is the plastic protector thing supposed to stick up about half an inch above the compartment? I can’t figure out how to get mine to not do that.
This is the BEST video for changing scooter batteries! Thank you!
Does the new wires come with the batteries?

These little scooters are the best way to get around a city! How much extra range did the 9ah get you? I am about to upgrade my batteries as well

Have you tried to put a new motor on it
