In 1970 during the race there Jackie Stewart whose driving for Tyrrell at the time was DNF after he hit a stray dog that crossed the track out of the blue causing to destroy his suspension.
The old ones were much much better than the current layout - the corners are now painfully lazy, there is basically no flow around the circuit. Almost every corner is waiting game until the driver rotates the car and it isn't cool to watch. Even the esses are kind of distracting
You actually can, to deactivate it the drivers either brake or push the button again. F1 explained that after Barcelona (I think) where Max was having problems opening it. It was there when he was pressing the button "50 f***ing times" until they figured it out.
Last iteration looks more a Montreal Circuit, semipermanent. The curved main straight takes away from the perfection of its original layout, very similar to Monza.
I think people are being a bit harsh, nothing wrong with the current layout. Having the original esses and peraltada would be good but modern F1 cars just wouldn’t be able to follow so the racing would suffer. Peraltada would be easily flat in a modern car and wouldn’t be impressive, bit like the last corner at Zandvoort.
Peraltada was so cool man.
Tell that to Ricardo Rodriguez
@@maxlevelbrutoSuspension failure, nothing to do with the track.
All the old layouts are way better than the current layout, i wish this track looked as good as before
i still like the 86 and the current track and this track is now seven years since relaunch in 2015
Peraltada was so fast good corner only miss that on the legendary circiut
You should do Interlagos! It's an amazing track, not to mention the next one on the calendar.
Maybe even the Brazilian GP itself since it was held in Rio a couple of times
Those curbs in the 1962 track are ridiculous!
I always love these, cause as you watch them, the track looks more and more recognisable.
Or less and less recognisable if you aren’t 12.
1986 layout much better than current layout.
They really need to ditch the last section thru the baseball field and bring Peraltada back

Bring back Peraltada!!!

Well, this track has a lot of room for improvement, I hope they remodel it someday.
I hate that flowless stadium section...
When kerbs were FRIGGIN TYRES…
TILKE TYPICAL CIRCUIT 😍😍😍
2/3 AREA LONG STRAIGHT , FASTER CORNER (ROLLER COASTER),
TRICKY HAIRPIN, CHICHANE
Still play the 80s version on Microprose GP2 with a 1989 carset
1 thingy.....you cannot unclick DRS in a corner you have to break for it. Maby a tip for making it a bit more realistic.
Yeah I know but I had to for the final corners in the 62 & 88 versions otherwise I would be dead ahahaha
Then just don't use it there

I actually prefer the AC version of present Mexico than real life
Which corner Riccardo Rodriguez died ?
probably pereltada

Does anyone know if the original Mexican track has the oval version available??
Fun fact: “magdalena” (from the first layout) in english means cupcake
you did not mention the formula E layout of Mexico E-Prix
Another once great track ruined by modern modifications.
can i have ur f1 22 reshade settings
we can't have the rb18 mod It's a shame because it's well made

Involution

2nd Like!
Gearing tuned top speed ratios with zero drag to reach 745 kmh
The old layouts are too tight and slow, the modern layout would be best but the last sector really drags it down. Very mediocre track overall imo.
