Another great video. You guys rock!
*saison was originally brewed in winter and consumed in summer during harvest
*once the hop plant reaches some height, cut of the leaves of the first 3ft. Keeps bugs and diseases out!
Would love to see you guys continue the tradition next year with the next crop! Maybe do a little malting of your own!
Definitely! Hopefully we'll have more hops to work with next year. This Saison was delicious though.
Awesome, as usual, keep them videos coming.
i made something very similar here in my backyard
i've planted a rosemary bush.
oh no! our beer! It spilled! 1:28 lmao just subscribed, can't wait to learn more about making beer!
I am absolutely not surprised that Ross owns grand opening scissors. Totally on brand
Yet another awesome video! Can't wait to see what's next!
This has to be one of my favourite brew videos out there. Great work. Had me laughing.
Pretty Pretty... Pretty Good
Spot on Ross, you can't put a price on brewing beer with your friends.. because now you can share the beer with your friends!!! 😁🍻🍻 Cheers Fellas
Nice pad Ross! As always a classy production
Ok now I want to know if growing your own grain is worth it!
That is next level home brewing
You guys are awesome, fun stuff keep us entertained
The video editing on these vids are always pure comedy gold - great work, great content guys :)
Two things.... Ross has a nice house and I laughed my ass off when Emmet was standing there with the giant scissors and squash.
ross thank you for liking left over crack. i freaking knew you would haver a shirt from them for some reason

Such awesome content. Love the channel
Ross killed off the hops when he drenched them with beer 🤣.
sick crib rassss
The mute out at 8:40 made me choke on my beer, LOL
Careful, those hops are planted pretty close together. In another year or two the rhizomes of all 3 are going to be one big tangled mess. My hops sprout out of the earth as far as 18 inches from where I stuck the rhizome in the ground 3 years ago.
ONE TAKE JAKE!!!
Now that you’ve done maximalist, I would love to see a video where you scavenge everything. The cheapest beer you can produce that is still “good” would be awesome.
If you don’t make a RUclips short of the River dance I am going to sue you! 😂😂😂
I guess I need a malt saber like Ross
Why caramunich? Not a grain I typically see in farmhouse ales. I’d have gone for triticale or spelt. Maybe a bit of unmalted adjunct like oats, rye, etc
Blast beats!
What is that awesome plant in the corner?
Fiddle leaf fig.
Great content, by a pair of loons. Brilliant I love it
👋
Just sharing my favorite don't cut toward yourself saying; Cut towards you buddy not your body!
this was a funny video
The modern day pirates of brewing
What did the $1500 get spent on? Was it $500 a rhyzome?!
I am not sure if I am worried or happy that it seems like I am slowly turning into Ross. No way I can grow that glorious beard though.
lol Malt Saber
Love it, but a bit click baitey
Nice Video. You NEED TO HAVE A GIVEAWAY AND LET ME WIN. LOVE YOUR SYSTEM.
lmao brewing system just casually taking up most of the cost
wow. Including the price of the brewing equipment and kegs in the "price" to make this beer. I guess it gets clicks, but unless you bought it for just this beer and threw it away afterwards, that don't make no sense.
I would never use fresh hops for the boil addition again. Either way there's tons of volume loss.
Fact: French Saison >>>> Belgian Saison (Opinion)
$1000 is the brewing system though? Lol
Thought Ross lived in a tent 🤔
Used to! Been squatting in that foreclosed mansion for quite a while now.
Only that? In Brazil, to make 30 liters of a NEIPA, we spend around 400 reais, which is 40% of a person's salary.
You know there's no such thing as leftover crack!
Lol
Slushy beer?
🤔
@@ClawhammerSupply 450 north brewing has me mind blown.
City Steading Brews had 118K subs and The Craft Beer Channel has 113K subscribers ... you aren't the largest brewing channel
Does he trim his beard with those scissors.
Yes, and his hair. As you can tell, the scissors don't work very well...
Poor homeless Ross.
He's been squatting in that house for quite a while now.
@@ClawhammerSupply lol poor Ross... Nice digs though! Looks like a mansion.
Your first years harvest is usually pathetic. Next year should be way more.
All talk and no drinking.
Most Wet hop beers have this immense oxidation and they smell like cat piss. Only very few are really good
I actually love the cat piss vibe but this one didn't have it. That said we didn't end up using that much hops since the yield was so low
@@ClawhammerSupply a little catty notes are okay but some are just so strong i cant stomach its
