This is when the story really kicked into full gear for me. Seeing a cocky Kiryu ruin Nishitani’s entire life because it was a job to him was such an interesting side to the Dragon.

Kiryu really went: "I've been playing nice guy for way too long, let me destroy every shred of hopes and dreams of this fucking kid"
I wouldn't say Kiryu is "cocky", more like Kiryu is "confidence" enough to beat the living shit out of that kid
That was the most Yakuza Kiryu has ever been and I love it
Kiryu is pretty much done with everyone's shit, even more so than in 5 and 6 now that's he's stuck in a dead-end government job that forbids him from interacting with the orphanage kids. His voice lines in Gaiden are way more snarky than when he was 'alive'.
Can’t see Nishitani didn’t deserve every bit of it. I almost wish he hadn’t survived the events of the game, but knowing he’s going to suffer under the Daidoji is good enough.

Probably just balancing. If he attacked you right after a flashbang you couldn't dodge (I think so at least), it'd be too cheap.
He wanted to bang Joryu at that moment
So the people who go for "no damage" runs have a chance to dodge it.
My problem with such action,was he supposed to be to a cruel assassin. But by waiting Joryu to recover first ,he portray an honourable attitude. Not sure why RGG decided to include such contradictory action.

Man I love this game. But im surprised that the achievements for this game are so... Lenient compared to other titles. By far the easiest game to platinum for better or for worse.
Still have 3 games left to finish getting all achievements tho and I've been putting it off cause I ain't ready for the grind still

Who is the most dangerous, Koshimizu, Nishitani III, Soma or Sadamoto
Sadamoto easily. Koshimizu and Soma are just doing their job and Nishitani III chills in the Castle most of the time. Sadamoto straight up killed innocent people then tried to claim innocence himself while having a knife at his son's throat to exploit a fear that he himself gave him for his future plans.
In terms of combat skill:
Nishitani=Soma>Sadamoto>Koshimizu
@@phihungnguyen118 I dunno. Koshimizu could fight Kiryu while Sadamoto got his butt whipped by Discount Kiryu.
Hes one of the hardest boss fights imo because When I thought him I was really unprepared. You'll probably have very little upgrades and it's immediately after a long extended fight sequence. When you have little gear and upgrades it's very difficult he two hits you
