It very educational and soul touching presentation. I will listen to it again and again. It helps me to understand my faith deeply. May God bless you all with your families abundantly!
It's a really powerful document-- and it's not that long a read! Here's a link to the whole thing: www.vatican.va/archive/hist_councils/ii_vatican_council/documents/vat-ii_const_19651118_dei-verbum_en.html
Growing up Catholic, I feel we were catechised to know the book arose from the word, with the work of the apostles but we would never think of it as the catholic church. I held the assumption that the church was and is "The church." I was perplexed when I first had to respond to anticatholicism. To me, Protestants were part of the Church in its history but chose a different path of expression of the Church. But I think that is why ( I think) Catholics tend not to be negative about the faith held by those who are not Catholic (whether Protestant or non Christian). Hard to articulate.
Thank you, guys. From Boa Vista, Roraima, Brazil. 🇧🇷

Glad it was helpful!
So much to think about and absorb from this, I'll have to listen again.
Thank you!
I’m inspired to read Dei Verbum!
