    This potential Necron schism is something I have been waiting for. I doubt Imhotek has information regarding the Silent King's journies. Now, in the Tyranids, the Necrons have a back up if the Nexus failed. Wiping out all life in the Galaxy! A Necron civil war would place the Necrons in a precarious position. With Imhotek clashing with forces of the Indomitus Crusade. However, we have a rogue element, the Orks! Ghazkull has wanted a big fight, he has that now. The more conflict, the more the Orks start resembling the Krork race of old. Crashing straight into the Tyranids would offer Ghazkull what he wants. I also suspect GW may go along this path.

    • @Yandarval
      @Yandarval 7 месяцев назад +4

      It better be Orks v 'Nids. As the weapons used by the Necrons "should" prevent any spores been shed on death. Which would put a crimp on the Orks big time.

      I don't know how to explain it.
      Remember, the Necron nobility were allowed to keep their faculties,SK was the king of the Necrons,so he had more "independence" than most nobles.
      If they made the Necrons,why did they allow them to rebel against them?
      They didn't,SK commanded them to rebel.
      If he could do that,I imagine he could also destroy that which gave him control over the Necrons.

    This is really cool. The Necron would become boring and too OP if they all united behind Szarekh without conflict, and this gives weight to the duality/schism between the Necron that hated the bio transference and those that revel in it. So the clashes of these rivaling ideologies and titans of power, old vs new etc, makes the Necron a lot more interesting. And creates the opportunity for more cool storylines and interaction between the Necron and the other races. Thumbs up for GW for choosing this narrative going forward :)

    I think that the only path of survival for the galaxy is an alliance between Szarek’s Necrons and the Imperium under Guilliman. Both are reasonable leaders open to inter-species pacts, and both are intelligent enough to understand that alone neither humanity nor the Necrons can stand against the Great Devourer and the Ruinous Powers.

    My biggest issue is that the Pariah Nexus is going to end with a decisive Imperium win.
    And heres how it’ll play out.
    While the Necrons are waring with each other, the Imperium is gonna some how manage in the background be fighting other Necron forces in a grand finale stand that is written like they’re about to loose when suddenly- they magically hold out long enough to destroy the Nexus, and return the warp to the area.
