I personal like the dinning room chairs. Don't make the same mistake most people do. Making the new make over all monotone. Different shades of the same color. Your home is decorated beautifully. Still you needed that pop of color the dinning room has to offer. It's not that bold, but stands out. So you actually look at what the room has to offer. Still blending with your new furniture nicely. Really love the touches you have done to the house.

Unfortunately, the American Middle Class is almost gone, so Dustin & Burton are keeping it alive! It’s where I grew up, but it’s sad to see as a now senior citizen in this country. Absolutely loved the tour.💯 My fav was the guest house and the courtyard too. That couch is great and I like that you put that peice to the side as another sitting unit. Most children would dream of the playroom that was alright to mess up. Lastly, I really like the table and the center peice, but more modern, lightweight chairs that looks as if it came from the same era to brighten the table would be spot on ! U should keep the dining room chairs - love the color of the upholstery. As a thought- the frame can be stripped at some point and washed oxidized copper green; it ll work with the ceiling.

Your house is wonderful. I too am an art collector. Began collecting the works of relatively unknown artists from Arkansas (ok they're mostly my friends). Happy to say the artists aren't unknown any longer. As to the chairs. . . keep them and reupholster them in a less heavy fabric. That gorgeous table deserves those chairs. My nod to tradition in my mid-century is ornate gilt framed mirrors. Like the other comments say, beautiful home for a beautiful family.

Those chairs were a major part of why I loved your dining room. Maybe re- upholster them but I love that colour. I would really need to see what the new chairs would be but a heavy chair is nice in a formal dining room. A light chair would take away from the regalness
