Guys, only do Skinner boxing after you have a compelling loop. Otherwise it's like eating candy before dinner. Nice at first but not satisfactory long term.
David Gottlieb, in the 1930s. Mechanical carnival games and pinball machines operated in two modes: attract mode, and gameplay mode. Attract modes made noise and moved around to attract attention, so people would put money in the machine (or pay the attendant) to play the game. In the 1970s, arcade games adopted the same operations and terminology, because they were being manufactured and sold by the same people who made and sold pinball machines (notably Bally/Midway).

9:28 well I'm glad that you at least tried. Though, your sentence is kinda equivalent to "cocaine is fine as long as it doesn't cause death", by which I mean it's a tremendous underestimation of consumer catasthrophe of our century! If you don't already get it, I wouldn't waste my time here, I would just say that "games" certainly can be art, but what you doing/teaching is a product. And what you actually doing, using these techniques, is taking parts of peoples lives away, without their understanding. This Is Fraud. This is highly immoral. It's time to recognise it

You need an example of something that is delightful? I think he skipped that one because it's self-explanitory.
