Great video, that has taught me so many things Dave, thank you. Can you please do a short video on how you position your pole roller and how you ship back, it would give everyone an insight as we can’t see behind, you always make it look seamless. Cheers.
@@davebrownfishing Thank you Dave, we all need to know and understand what to do when faced with high hedges, fences or like on this video, embankments. things like, do you use a V roller or normal type, extended legs etc or perhaps ship along the bank, it would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Dave, were you fishing on the bottom? Canal fishing for perch in winter, would it be wise to fish on or off the bottom? in your opinion.....Thanks pal
I use a small telescopic rod . How you can be bothered with those poles is beyond me lol. I have a small rucsack and it carries everything I need for a great days fishing.
@@davebrownfishing Thanks for the reply and Merry Christmas. My local is the Staffs/Worcs at Caunsall. I'm thinking about joining some clubs for next year to give me access to more water as what you say is inevitably correct. Caunsall is 3' deep down the track and I could see my liquidised bread on the bottom. But I know there are better canals or stretches in the area, so I watch your videos with interest.
great worm fishing tips there dave, but please dont store your keys on your bait table, i thought you were going to knock them in the drink lol. regards mick.

Don't forget to give the bite time to develop as well mate😘
Great vid. I miss my canal fishing as the canal near me just isn't worth bothering with at the moment.
Location is a major factor on canals this time of year mate! If you can locate where fish migrate to, you can have a great day.

Good video friend , was just checking out your channel and i joined up
Thank you🥰
What do you use to mince your worm up so finely?
I've got 2 pairs of scissors taped together. Been using the same ones for about 20 years!
Did you re-feed just the once with worms?
Yes mate, i wasn't there very long tbh.
