Most Christian music artists don't sound as good as the more pop oriented music. What strikes me about KB is that he's just as technically proficient as so many A tier rappers in the game right now. My understanding of hip hop is that flow is the most important thing, using your voice as a percussion instrument on a track most of the time - with your words being a through line through that mentality. KB's flows are IMMACULATE. And instead of using drugs, gangs, and other more mainstream topics in his flows, he uses his faith. NOTE: I'm not deriding any artists who rap about drugs and gangs in their music because it's often an authentic part of their human experience and it's not my place to judge them given the environments they most likely grew up in. I'm just saying it's so refreshing to hear somebody switch up the topics to something I greatly enjoy hearing about.
So the PreJam Artist they start is Bayside Worship Megan Duke Abby Robinson The Actual Jam Artist starts with I Am They Kevin Quinn Newsong KB Guest Speaker Shane Pruitt Tauren Wells Colton Dixon Do some offering and have Abby Robinson and Bayside Worship sing 1 song. Then ends off with Skillet
