    This SmartLife mattress can be adjusted the sleeper via a free Android/iOS app or with an optional wired remote to adjust the firmness of the mattress. And the mattress can also auto-adjust to tweak support and comfort when you change sleep positions. The app is also a sleep tracker and includes a "relaxation" mode which inflates and deflates the air chambers to create a subtle "wave" pattern that our tester did find extremely relaxing.

    I just bought one of these after having 2 sleep number beds over the last 23yrs. We love it so far. I like the relax mode, my husband forgets it when he lays down but both commented that it feels like being on a cruise ship. I have a lot of hip and knee problems now that I’m older the the separate chambers really help. I wish we had bought the split king but I’m good.

    One last question that I can’t find. What material is used to make the air pockets? Is it vulcanized rubber?

      TPU or Thermoplastic Polyurethane

    I understand it’s a sleep mattress that adjusted to your sleep conditions physically, how durable is it when it comes to two people regularly jumping/intimacy on this air mattress that’s the question to be or not to be?

    • @goodbed
      @goodbed  Год назад +2

      Hi Josue. I suppose it depends on how aggressively you are "jumping". We didn't evaluate this mattress specifically in terms of that, but mattress makers assume that every mattress will be used for sex, so that's factored into materials and durability. Your question about whether this particular mattress will perform better or worse in that regard is a fair one. But as long as your jumping doesn't include sharp objects that could penetrate the layers of the mattress and puncture the air chambers, I think you'll be just fine.

      The mattress comes with a 4 year full replacement warranty and an additional 21 years of warranty after that initial 4 years. So the total warranty is 25 years.

    Can you do a review on the Personal Comfort R15 model?

      Hi Antonio -- Thanks for your comment. We do prioritize our reviews based on input from our readers, so your request here will certainly be noted. That said, just to let you know, I don't believe we've had many other requests related to that brand at this point, so it's not likely to be high on the list for the time being. Thanks again.

    Will this mattress lose air if power goes out?

    • @goodbed
      @goodbed  2 года назад +1

      Hi Antonio -- Thanks for your question. The company has actually tested this and determined that in a 3 day period without power, this mattress loses less than 5% of its support. I hope that's helpful.

      @@goodbed Thank you for your response! There is not much out on this mattress and I’m trying to get more information on it. In your experience, would this be comparable to the sleep number i10?

    • @goodbed
      @goodbed  2 года назад +1

      @@Tony-ce2vb I'm afraid we haven't done an in-depth review of that mattress so I can't speak to it in as much detail as I can this one.
      That said, I'd recommend giving a close watch to the section of this video that starts at 0:22, in which we describe the difference between how the air chambers in this mattress work from a traditional single-chamber air mattress. All Sleep Number mattresses use the traditional single-chamber design, so this will give you a good sense of an important fundamental difference between this mattress and the i10.
      I hope that's helpful.

    Does it have safety feature in dace pet or kid gets under the bed

    • @goodbed
      @goodbed  3 месяца назад +1

      Hi Sarai -- That would be a feature of the adjustable base (a separate unit that goes under the mattress to make it go up and down), not the mattress. The product being described in this video, SmartLife, is just the mattress. I hope that's helpful.

    Problem with this is both people have to sleep in the same position if I want to sleep in the anti-gravity position the other person in the bed with me will have to also sleep in the antigravity position

    • @goodbed
      @goodbed  Год назад

      Unfortunately, this is true for nearly all adjustable bases. The most common solution is to have a separate adjustable base under each side of the mattress. That said, this would also require either independent Twin XL mattresses or a (relatively rare) split top mattress. This latter option would still elevate the feet together but allows the heads of each side to be raised and lowered independently. King Koil is actually one of the manufacturers that makes split king mattresses, so if that option sounds appealing, I'd recommend checking with your SmartLife retailer to see if that's available in the model you want. Otherwise, getting two separate twin mattresses is always an option.
      I hope that's helpful.

    This mattress is a total scam. I’m currently on my second defective mattress. Just bought this two weeks ago. They replaced the first one cause the compressor was too loud. The second one makes a popping sound during relaxation mode. I’m currently the opposite of relaxed. I’m very pissed off from this relaxation mode
