You had the clearest and best training videos and course material on networking with switches and routers on the Internet in 2021. I can only imagine it's even better today.
Great to see that you're revising this series, I was following your old playlist for Fundamentals and it was about 5 years old, glad to see you're revisiting this series. Thank you.
Amazing to see them as a refresher when i first started my career back in 2020 with your old CCNA playlist. It helped me kickstart my career as Network engineer and now i am working in a US multinational company. This channel helped me a lot every time i needed to get familiar with a new topic to build a solid foundation in networking. Thank you very much for this type of content 😍😍 Hopefully i will also get my CCNA done while watching your videos🤞🤞🤞
Hey, could i ask how you went about it? You watched the videos and researched (i'm assuming) stuff on it and aapplied for a job? I'm doing my bachelors in IT but don't have an IT-Background and want to get a job (have to have some salary to pay bills) but idk if it's possible or not.
@@mezerdeniel1005 yes i stratwd from this channel and applied side by side and prepared my resume writing Hands-on experience and also looked for me references in IT field to get placed for my first Job. You can try searching Jobs this way and it doesn't matter if you're IT or Non-IT. Just believe yourself that you cab do it..!! Everything will fall into place.
Fantastic content and good narration. I was just watching some other networking videos with the narrator was rambling nervously and actually stressing me out. A good calm voice helps people get in a good state for learning and retaining information. It also makes it more enjoyable. Good job 👌
Awesome! I haven't done anything with networking since the mid-90s (Windows 95 era). I think it's time I started at the beginning again and see what I can learn.
I graduated IT way back 2018, and went to work on a different field. Now I'm trying to get back at IT again by learning network fundamentals and be a network administrator someday. Got my first IT experience but for only 6 months. Wish me luck lololol
I'm adhd, dyslexic and autistic that's why It's really hard for me to stay focus reading on hack the box platform that's why watching entertaining videos like this is very helpful. Thank you for taking time making this free videos I appreciated it a lot.
I wrote down the following answer to the question, what is a network? A route between locations, a way of carrying information from one place to another. This is usually taxed.
Thanks for watching! Watch part 2 of our Introduction to Networking series here - ruclips.net/video/h42qLaQM0_s/видео.html You can find answers to the quiz questions at our website, Network Direction. Links in the description 😃
can you provide whole ppt or pdf of slide used, you explained really well but usually in an exam or interview its really hard to watch the whole video and find one thing you are stuck on, a notes pdf will be handy to follow along and revise before interview or exam
Hi Luke, would you say your Introduction to Networking video is a good enough prerequisite for the JNCIA? I was told the CCNA knowledge would be required before the JNCIA
I have always been fascinated by the field of Networking but of lately I have been having a little concern about its future considering the emergence of cloud computing. There have been speculations that cloud computing will eventually eliminate the need for network engineers. I don't how true is this
Take advantage of whatever resources are available to you. Check to see if your school offers any IT internships or job shadow programs during the summer break. The summer is when the IT depts. in K-12 are the busiest. That way you can get hands-on experience and see how things work (or don't work) at your school. Even if its not directly related to what you want to study or work in, its still invaluable experience. If you're looking into cyber security, I suggest you first get a general idea of how computers and computer systems work. Networking is something you should understand, but its best to start off with more basic parts of IT then move onto networking and then into cyber sec. Cyber sec requires a solid foundation of IT concepts and knowledge to do well in this field.

Fantastic stuff, great Networking Fundamentals. I was looking for a good beginner network/switches explaination.
A network is a group of devices designed to communicate/share data with one another over a shared connection.
I am here directly from a google training video, which listed this as a good external resource.
You're God sent!
i have to say good on you for revising the introduction! you have yet to replace it in the networking fundamentals playlist. (4th comment btw)
Thanks for watching and for the feedback! We are about to release part 2 in just a few hours, so I will definitely update the playlist now!
I defined a network as a group of electronic devices able to communicate with one another

Hello, sir. I want to ask if there are any sources on the internet to learn about networking on the internet completely for free
Question: What is a network?
Answer: a group of devices interconnected to communicate with each other.
I spent 4 minutes watching thinking he was making an analogy to business networking 😭😭
"They let their people take it from plebs in their network""I have an issue with this, but it is not the more trded thing I've seen.""No wait it is..I see other things too though however.""It makes it hard doing business with you, nono wait..it makes it easier. I don't really know or have faith and I can't wrap my head around it.""It is a struggle to look at them without it and I don't know how they don't see it.""I know it must be medicine. Do they take it on their own? I know I am asking a child but I don't know what to think."
"It is both." "I mean I have something to add to what I was thinking." "What they do. It makes it both hard and easy to work for them. For different reasons. That is what I want to tell you."
That person did have a crush on Jackie initially. I don't know if they ever got together however. This will tell you they do similar things. "She is with J all the time and I can't think through it.""I've moved on."
