Idk how to explain it but the “sporadic” style of vlogging for these trips has always been my favorite format. Like just taking out the camera whenever you’re sitting down somewhere or taking a break and just summarizing what you did in the last few hours / half a day with maybe a couple 3 second clips of those activities overlaid. Love seeing as much as possible but at the same time when everyone in the group is trying to film everything at all times it kinda leads to the shots just being someone else also holding up a camera and no one is really sincerely doing/saying/experiencing something cool. TLDR: Really enjoyed this video :).
Filming every moment of something has its place and can be fun to watch. Like Sydeon’s videos where she films most of one single excursion with a goal/intention (like the food market vids or her recent Shanghai Popeyes review vid) are super fun to watch.
But I don’t think you should worry too much about how much you’re filming when you’re showing us several days of a trip. I certainly didn’t think any of the negative things you mentioned at the end and enjoyed the vid!
P.s. your editors do a really good job
Agreed, the at-surface sincerity is engaging. Unless something else is meant by sporadic, it doesn't come off as sporadic. It comes off to me as rich and varied, engaging.
Sporadic maybe at Jodi's end but compiled for us on our end richly with regular sincerity.

Well I got allergic to some bugs in Shanghai, and seriously the best and quickest way to address these issues is to go to the pharmacy on the street. The staff there are certified to prescribe some medicine and it actually always works!
also hey jodi, i luv ur vlogs! not because theyre "perfect" or "efficient" but just because *you* made them & u put all the effort into making them! ur vlogging doesnt always have to be systematic or follow a certain template, the way u do it is fun & interesting, & i luv that style of videoing

We should have them here in the states as well before we switch to digital.
Smaller stations usually don't have any programs late night and they can show that on screen as a filler.

y'all should've gone to a pharmacy for john's bug bite, they could've helped better lol I know in Korea, the pharmacists can diagnose and help with minor things like this
When I lived in Shanghai, I went to the hospital because I broke my foot and I still can’t get over the fact that X-rays were $12. It was incredibly chaotic but really efficient. I was in and out in 20m 😂😂
