Rick Priestley has launched his latest game "Space Battles" through Wombat Wargames. A quick and easy ruleset to pick up that allows you to introduce your own narrative and is model agnostic, although there are some official models available!

Although Rick gave specific examples of game play, does each game turn follow the IGUGO order. ie do you move/fight all your force elements then your opponent gets to move all theirs?
