Nice looking truck. It is always a good idea to wait it out. I have an older 7.3 and I've taken really good care of it, hope it lasts a while longer. Getting harder and harder to find good, OLD diesels.
Good story. Great choice of truck ,Love that cummins sound. Great memories in the making. Miss my 98.5 24v. Cowboy hat works.
Congrats dude! Looks real nice🤙🏼
Thanks Brian!
Nice truck and Rex approved 🐕! It's a good day Captain G ! 👍
Buttermilk Sweet Long Truck!!!
Like the channel quite a bit. Wish there was more Rex. He kinda reminds me of a more energetic version of Jim from the film Spaced Invaders. And btw, I really love that flick.
Glad you're back and also glad you kept the cowboy hat it looks great on you. Congrats on the new-ish truck it's almost as old as my Neon
Nice work man! Glad to see you still doing good!
Damn brother! I just got rid of my 3rd gen Ram. This hit me in the feels.
greetings from cochise county. I just saw the video on Paragraphic.... trucks are awesome... I have an old chevy 3500 utility truck and use it everyday.... good purchase.
Congrats on your new beast! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🛻🛻🛻🛻🛻🛻
Welcome back Capt'n... Nice tow rig :)
You're a great story teller. Interesting truck buying adventure.
Thank you
Congrats on the truck bro it looks bad ass! Good job👍
Great looking truck and a great find! I have a 3500 dually and haul a truck camper. You’ll have plenty of power and it’ll last a long time! Checkout some of the diesel discount programs out there to saw a few bucks if there’s a source near you.
Congrats! She's a beauty.
nice truck u have there haha. i remember just watched tflclassics review about old dodge ram and old ford f150. i can say that's one durable truck indeed
Buttermilk Super Long Truckin'
Very nice. Great find.
Hell yeah dude, badass truck. Those are great trucks, you got a deal
Nice truck! I have 03' and it's a great feeling to know I will never have to buy another one!!
I believe this truck is a 2003, not 2002. 2002 3rd gen RAM 1500 was debuted. The 2002 RAM 2500 or 3500 was the last 2nd gen of the year.
Captain glade your bake, great truck what is the blow by test can you do a video on that.
Thanks, there are lots of videos about how to do this. You basically take the oil cap off while it’s running and place it back on upside down. If it blows the cap off it has a good amount of blow by.
Bulldog canyon! Great area to go wheeling.
Nice truck for sure!
Your gonna love it! (Got one too)
Lake Havasu 🌞 Az
I thought the lumber thrown into the back of the pickup truck WAS a cool shot. I immediately thought, "Cool! He bought a truck!" Vehicle shopping definitely takes patience and persistence. I rushed my last car buying decision and spent years paying down a mistake. I am glad you found a really good truck.
i made damn sure my motorhome had a cummins and when i finally buy a diesel truck it will be cummins also! great choice bro!
Sick truck man!!!!❤ we gotta get back out when you get back lmk!
Thanks! & Absolutely! Let’s get another adventure going soon
Swing and a miss
Nice truck
Let's see how she does in the mud
DirtChurchClub 4x4ing is watching and glad to see you back in action
Nice buy.
Love it!💛💙😎😻
Where you at in az! I’m on 101 and the 17.
Bad ass truck!!!!!
Thanks Tris!
REEEEEEEAL NICE!!!
Really enjoyed your episode of Paragraphic. Does your home's solar set up provide more power than your home needs, or just enough? Hoping to be off-grid myself someday.
Thats awesome! It was pretty cool to meet those guys and I learned a lot. The quality of their videos is incredible. As far as our solar at the house… its 19kw and it makes more power than we use about 6 months out of the year, which results in a credit on the electric bill. During the peak of summer when the AC is working overtime our bill is around $35-$50 a month.
Right on
Very nice. I hope to own something like that one day. I want to be able to tow the Blazer around. I also have a large trailer I want to be able to tow and my two boats. So I needs me a truck like yours.
With the price is vans lately, I wouldn’t doubt you could sell yours and then turn around and buy an old diesel too.
@@CaptainGnarkill Mine has 360k on it but that's with a new engine and tranny. Tranny has about 100k and the new engine has about 60k on it.
... You just won't be able to afford to fill it up. Only driven by an old grampa who only drove it to church on Sundays. Perfect buy. Totally agree with getting an older vehicle, gently used.
Hey! My 2001 Chevy van is a 1-ton chassis (3500 dually, but not 4x4) and I am convinced that while my engine isn't a diesel that will last forever, it is every bit as torquey and reliable at 496 cu inch V-8 Vortec (8.1 liter, 2001, V8, not a V-10). One thing I love about Chevy big blocks? 100% reliable, all the time... Only negative, a little weak on gas mileage, but price of gasoline more than makes up for losing a few MPGs (8-12.5 city/highway).
BTW, hubby says one person can't come to a consensus ... Unless you have multiple voices in your head?
Badass 😎
Hell yea
Hello. Have a safe blessed day! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Nice choice man! Cummins are the best
We know about them hotrod 16 year old days, burning rubber swapping engines and pushing the vehicles we owned mine was a 70 nova and 65 Impala SS as many Chevys I've owned wouldn't own another
I couldn’t tell, is your truck a stick or an auto?
It’s auto
