When Lance left, I pretty much lost interest in stopping watching braille. As someone who was also a beginner at the time, it was fun to learn at the same pace and the same tricks as another member on the team. Also, Lance was like 24-25 when he was on braille, a lot younger than what most people think
I was super into Braille but Lance leaving felt like a family member left. I stopped watching soon after. Just today I wondered where all the OG’s are at so I started searching and I’m in utter disbelief at what I’m reading so far.

I always resonated with Fetty the most. He didn't really yap over nothing, was really skilled, and was all about the skating. Dude also had balls of steel. Really sucks how that turned out.
I heard Lance left to work with his brother in a different state. As for Mogley, I've seen him skating with the Powell Peralta guys on Dan Corrigan's channel. Seems like a good fit. There is a girl called Emma on Braille, not sure if she was part of the team, but she did some videos several years ago. She left to study in university in a different city, but she still skates, and she seems really nice on IG at least.

Time sure flies. I used to skate from 1997-2006. In 2016 I came across Braille and really got hooked on their content. So much, that it inspired me to dabble in skateboarding again for a bit (at the age or 30 at that time). I watch their videos once in a while now, but back then I used to watch almost every video they released. Lance was still on the channel and Gabe was still a little kid that was tagging along with them.
after the whole fetty deal happened, there was a video of fetty skating at Braille after the fact when braille went to 2.0. It was a clip of him olliing off the 3block and saying, i miss this. None of us know the backstory or if Fetty even wanted to go back.
I cant fucking stand the guy. He is so annoying behind the camera, always screaming at the top of his lungs like a little child. Im sure more people would watch the channel, even the lame shit if it was not for him.
Gabe comes off as a high school PE coach that wants to be friends with his students but secretly places money bets with other teachers on which kid will run a lap the fastest. Started out as a skater but saw dollar signs and kinda switched up. Now days he's just a golfer who can do a varial flip and repeats videos.

The quality of the ideas for videos has significantly dropped in the last year or so and it just feels like it has Gabe written all over it. I think he wanted to become more of a skater in the videos, and that’s why they brought in that new camera guy who couldn’t even stand on a skateboard let alone be called a skater, but he hasn’t been around at all lately, so I’m thinking they got rid of him, and Gabe just accepted his place behind the camera but still wants the same creative control as all the skaters in the video and has just forced himself into the crew. Seeing him constantly do varial flips in those skin tight black pants and shirts is 100% like seeing your buddy who ‘used to skate’ but only plays golf and works out now try and show the boys he can still hang lol… it is kinda cringey.

Also this is my alt, but I used to raid Mcnugg on Twitch after my stream and he even offered to let me come to the Braille house sometime. Butttt he also did a stream where he said that he wasn’t featured in Ricky, Mogely, Uzi’s videos during the braille first try tour and even Ricky never laughed at any of his jokes. Basically saying he didn’t feel welcomed there and He only liked Aaron, Nigel, Gabe and JD. Sorry if this is random, but I thought I would mention this since I used to watch them all daily and knew some info.
@@FlipFlopMop I don't think the videos give any kind of honest perspective on any of them leaving though. Obviously it is never put in any video directly. Even Nigel seems to avoid explaining why he left Braille and now only does cameos every now and then. It's simply not in the videos. Yeah, there's some vague shit about him having to travel a long distance and wanting to put time into his own things. But had Braille been a good deal, he probably wouldn't have left.
Ricky had mentioned in a video/live stream what had happened to Mcnugg it sounds like it had to do with a money situation and mcnugg had to get a second job to pay whoever back. And the way Mcnugg explained it one time on his last stream on twitch was he had a house to himself in which Ricky aussie dan and him were sharing but them two left so I believe it forced him to work at the other job more and he had said he wouldn't be in the videos as much as he wants to but will still pop up here and there. Braille has also said he had taken time off but he is more than welcomed back whenever he is ready

late to the video, but was a long time hardcore fan of braille, things make some sense now. In the case of lance from what i remember is that he was going to work for his brother as salesman or something- that was sad at the time, because he was the poster child of progress under aaron - i was 27 when i discovered braille, it was aw inspiring (plus was the camera man for me - Gabe, even though he does it longer technicality, was never lance- like you said, he felt "forced"). For Kelly and luke ( a duo ), they kind of just passed it off as "they are going to college" - and even gave shout outs to their channel, and they'd reappear around holidays...but did stop. Fetty, from what i really remember is that, they really really really amped up his whole relationship with his fiance at the time - whole episodes just on his tattoos and their meaning to this girl. Then news comes out he's cheating on her with a fan, who is also a minor. 2 major strikes - that's amplified by fan service for "character development". Carlos, i could never really find any answers to, just maybe overworked at braille / health decline at the time (face eczema all the time. Did all the craziest tricks in the house (HE would EAT SHIT OVER and OVER and OVER just to land A trick "proper" ), plus did lessons)...fucking god damn it, that was heartbreaking to hear why...i was a legit fan of his, that sucks. Then there's McNugget i always felt like he was underutilized - always a guest, never a memeber. At least when i stopped watching, which was after carlos left, and then the fetty thing happened. kind of watched episodes here and there, but the team never felt the same - and he still wasn't a member by the time i stopped watching, just heard news that he got signed with 3 block ( same team as carlos / side brand of revive).
A lot of people aren’t taking into account that most these guys all started working at Braille when they were young. It’s a massively common thing to have burn out with a job when you’re that young and not used to doing the same thing in the same place day after day. Eventually you quit to go do something else. It’s a totally normal and common part of life no matter what the job is.
It felt like uzi and fetty were rly good friends and content with those 2 was always fun and felt fluid, but when fetty left i feel like uzi didnt click with anyone like that in braille anymore

One thing that bothers me about your videos where you talk about Fetty is saying "found innocent". Courts/the law don't find people innocent, people are acquitted when there isn't enough evidence to prosecute them but they don't determine if these people are innocent and it certainly doesn't mean they are. Fetty is sus as hell in my personal opinion and I do think he knew what he was doing. When Braille is working with kids they cannot bring somebody like Fetty back around after a scandal like that whether or not he was prosecuted, imagine the liability not to mention the ethics in doing so.
In the courts it is innocent until proven guilty so you could look at it like they found him innocent or like they didn't have enough evidence to take it to trial. Either way it shows there was a lack of evidence he went into the relationship knowing she was underage and there really isn't a way to prove if or when he knew she was. To be completely real, the girl didn't look older than like 15 and there has to be giveaways, no 14 yr old can keep up the act for very long without slipping and not to be super weird or anything, I just remember being a teenager, teenage bodies don't look like adult bodies. But Fetty came across as slower than someone his age should be, like maybe he's a few crayons short of a whole box. So maybe he really didn't know. His situation does make sense why he disappeared without a video. There was atleast proof he hung out with a kid outside of work and you can't have that at a place where you teach kids.
Kelly and Luke are best friends doing their RUclips stuff together. I watch their stuff here and there and so impressed. They have strong heads. They absorbed the knowledge gained from braille and left the nest. That's what all kids do or should do at one point in their lives.

Lance did not leave for a job opportunity or a girlfriend as braille claimed he did, lance is in Scientology and left because he went to Clearwater for training.
I got hooked on Braille videos mainly because of Lance's progression. I got so inspired that I started skating again after over 20 years at the age of 35. I never got as good as Lance eventually got, but I kept watching and skating until the lockdowns happened. It pains me to see what's happened to what was once a great, positive and wholesome channel and crew. I fn h8 Sci_tology so much!!!

I remember vaguely Kelly explaining his goals and how he wanted to explore life himself with Luke. It’s not really about anything dramatic with them and braille because they were close but not really featured that much on the channel. Both Kelly and Luke grew up with them and worked with them I believe. I just think their relationship is wholesome and good. Don’t quote me 100% been following all these guys for a while so this is all just from memory

I never really understood the hate on Gabe. Gabe pours his heart and soul into Braille. He’s one of the only reasons the channel is still alive. You can tell dude tries everything to put content out. It’s not always the best content but atleast he tries when everybody else seems to have kind of given up. I have nothing but mad respect for him for sure.

And I’ve personally talked to him a couple of times and he’s never come across as egotistical. The only reasonable complaint I’ve seen about him is how over hype he is about everything, but you can’t exactly blame him when everybody else on the channel has the emotions of a robot.

Always liked Fetty back in the day and didn't know about the stuff that happened because I never followed closely, but learning about the way they did him was so fuckin dirty, but that's part and parcel for scientologists and anything they touch. Mogely was always my favorite, always just seemed (and still does) such a kind and genuine dude, glad he's still doing/following whatever fulfills him.
I think lance was there in the begging as a plant from Scientology, like his Scientology work detail was to work with Kyro to develop Braille. That’s my opinion, having been a regular viewer in the lance days. It was discolored that his background was kinda like the media management side of things, and filming. That’s not an uncommon practice in Scientology by the way. I know several people who escaped, with one family member who is still in that mental prison. And it really kinda works that way. Oh you got a marketable talent that draws people? We have a Scientologists to place with you to help develop that and create a presences. In this particular case, it was music industry related. And as soon as the jailbreak happened, they went from a fast track to fame and fortune to being black balled, this was the early 80’s. You’ve heard their music, no doubt. But I kinda don’t wanna spill the beans further, just wanted to offer a perspective I’ve seen from people who have successfully escaped.

Anytime Braille had a pro skater or team come thru Mogley turned it tf up. You could tell he always knew it was a stepping stone and a paycheck. Plus dude just loves skating. If hed have stayed with NKA I doubt hed have the same exposure so it was a good thing. But dude deserves so much more.

Dude Mogely on Powell is the right choice Dan Corrigan's stealing everyone's thunder, and not even a stealing way. I feel like you can't water down a Dan Corrigan video and it's genuinely the type of video I'd watch now. It's authenticity we all chase for and things become less authentic the more bad goes behind the scenes. It could even be one little bad thing and the proportion gets blown so wide it's crazy. I think if it wasn't for Majer crew and FP insoles, Braille wouldn't be a thing, but then, I feel like because of Braille, FP Insoles wouldn't be so big I feel like because of this it's amazing to have lived and see things grow and change to see that, maybe we as humans should leave things in the past like nostalgia There's the future to see On with the new one

Kelly and Luke were braille interns and just grew out of braille and moved to SoCal.
They were interns but also made youtube vids kelly is a big creator now and luke has a smaller channel but is still doing well

Gabe comes off as a high school PE coach that wants to be friends with his students but secretly places money bets with other teachers on which kid will run a lap the fastest. Started out as a skater but saw dollar signs and kinda switched up. Now days he's just a golfer who can do a varial flip and repeats videos.

I think he wanted to become more of a skater in the videos, and that’s why they brought in that new camera guy who couldn’t even stand on a skateboard let alone be called a skater, but he hasn’t been around at all lately, so I’m thinking they got rid of him, and Gabe just accepted his place behind the camera but still wants the same creative control as all the skaters in the video and has just forced himself into the crew.
Seeing him constantly do varial flips in those skin tight black pants and shirts is 100% like seeing your buddy who ‘used to skate’ but only plays golf and works out now try and show the boys he can still hang lol… it is kinda cringey.

Even Nigel seems to avoid explaining why he left Braille and now only does cameos every now and then. It's simply not in the videos. Yeah, there's some vague shit about him having to travel a long distance and wanting to put time into his own things. But had Braille been a good deal, he probably wouldn't have left.
Ricky had mentioned in a video/live stream what had happened to Mcnugg it sounds like it had to do with a money situation and mcnugg had to get a second job to pay whoever back. And the way Mcnugg explained it one time on his last stream on twitch was he had a house to himself in which Ricky aussie dan and him were sharing but them two left so I believe it forced him to work at the other job more and he had said he wouldn't be in the videos as much as he wants to but will still pop up here and there. Braille has also said he had taken time off but he is more than welcomed back whenever he is ready

late to the video, but was a long time hardcore fan of braille, things make some sense now. In the case of lance from what i remember is that he was going to work for his brother as salesman or something- that was sad at the time, because he was the poster child of progress under aaron - i was 27 when i discovered braille, it was aw inspiring (plus was the camera man for me - Gabe, even though he does it longer technicality, was never lance- like you said, he felt "forced"). For Kelly and luke ( a duo ), they kind of just passed it off as "they are going to college" - and even gave shout outs to their channel, and they'd reappear around holidays...but did stop. Fetty, from what i really remember is that, they really really really amped up his whole relationship with his fiance at the time - whole episodes just on his tattoos and their meaning to this girl. Then news comes out he's cheating on her with a fan, who is also a minor. 2 major strikes - that's amplified by fan service for "character development". Carlos, i could never really find any answers to, just maybe overworked at braille / health decline at the time (face eczema all the time. Did all the craziest tricks in the house (HE would EAT SHIT OVER and OVER and OVER just to land A trick "proper" ), plus did lessons)...fucking god damn it, that was heartbreaking to hear why...i was a legit fan of his, that sucks. Then there's McNugget i always felt like he was underutilized - always a guest, never a memeber. At least when i stopped watching, which was after carlos left, and then the fetty thing happened. kind of watched episodes here and there, but the team never felt the same - and he still wasn't a member by the time i stopped watching, just heard news that he got signed with 3 block ( same team as carlos / side brand of revive).

A lot of people aren’t taking into account that most these guys all started working at Braille when they were young. It’s a massively common thing to have burn out with a job when you’re that young and not used to doing the same thing in the same place day after day. Eventually you quit to go do something else. It’s a totally normal and common part of life no matter what the job is.

One thing that bothers me about your videos where you talk about Fetty is saying "found innocent". Courts/the law don't find people innocent, people are acquitted when there isn't enough evidence to prosecute them but they don't determine if these people are innocent and it certainly doesn't mean they are. Fetty is sus as hell in my personal opinion and I do think he knew what he was doing. When Braille is working with kids they cannot bring somebody like Fetty back around after a scandal like that whether or not he was prosecuted, imagine the liability not to mention the ethics in doing so.

In the courts it is innocent until proven guilty so you could look at it like they found him innocent or like they didn't have enough evidence to take it to trial. Either way it shows there was a lack of evidence he went into the relationship knowing she was underage and there really isn't a way to prove if or when he knew she was. To be completely real, the girl didn't look older than like 15 and there has to be giveaways, no 14 yr old can keep up the act for very long without slipping and not to be super weird or anything, I just remember being a teenager, teenage bodies don't look like adult bodies. But Fetty came across as slower than someone his age should be, like maybe he's a few crayons short of a whole box. So maybe he really didn't know. His situation does make sense why he disappeared without a video. There was atleast proof he hung out with a kid outside of work and you can't have that at a place where you teach kids.

I got hooked on Braille videos mainly because of Lance's progression. I got so inspired that I started skating again after over 20 years at the age of 35. I never got as good as Lance eventually got, but I kept watching and skating until the lockdowns happened. It pains me to see what's happened to what was once a great, positive and wholesome channel and crew. I fn h8 Sci_tology so much!!!

I remember vaguely Kelly explaining his goals and how he wanted to explore life himself with Luke. It’s not really about anything dramatic with them and braille because they were close but not really featured that much on the channel. Both Kelly and Luke grew up with them and worked with them I believe. I just think their relationship is wholesome and good. Don’t quote me 100% been following all these guys for a while so this is all just from memory

I think Kelly moved to L.A at the time with Luke. Lance did some interview on his dads RUclips channel with some explanations but no big reveals or anything like that. One guy who used to be in their old videos a lot was Jason. I don't know his last name but he was pretty good. I miss Lance the most 😄

kelly leave braille cuz he went to collage, thats the only reason, I remember a video explaining that, even on their main channel they have videos where they return from vacation to their city and visit them but I guess little by little they moved away.
I never really understood the hate on Gabe. Gabe pours his heart and soul into Braille. He’s one of the only reasons the channel is still alive. You can tell dude tries everything to put content out. @@imusic1006 what gives you that impression? He treats everybody on the team with respect and he always makes sure to involve everybody and their ideas. And I’ve personally talked to him a couple of times and he’s never come across as egotistical. The only reasonable complaint I’ve seen about him is how over hype he is about everything, but you can’t exactly blame him when everybody else on the channel has the emotions of a robot.

Anytime Braille had a pro skater or team come thru Mogley turned it tf up. You could tell he always knew it was a stepping stone and a paycheck. Plus dude just loves skating. If hed have stayed with NKA I doubt hed have the same exposure so it was a good thing. But dude deserves so much more.

Dan Corrigan's stealing everyone's thunder, and not even a stealing way. I feel like you can't water down a Dan Corrigan video and it's genuinely the type of video I'd watch now. It's authenticity we all chase for and things become less authentic the more bad goes behind the scenes. It could even be one little bad thing and the proportion gets blown so wide it's crazy. I think if it wasn't for Majer crew and FP insoles, Braille wouldn't be a thing, but then, I feel like because of Braille, FP Insoles wouldn't be so big
