  • We are playing State of Decay 2 by Undead Labs - the best Zombie Apocalypse Survival game out there. Using fresh rolled characters we dive tackle a mod called "Increase Zombies - Extreme version" by the modder: Hellfire. With 6x more zombie spawns, can we survive the Super Lethal Zone??

    Playthrough rules :
    - Take first available fresh characters, no re-rolls.
    - No boons, no mini-map, no aim snap, no aim assist, no bounty broker, no auto-righting cars, no map marker...basically no artificial advantages
    - You can only use radio calls that you earn in game.
    - No cheesing (cheesing hearts, standing on car roofs, reversing into juggernauts, enlisting immortal characters etc)
    - No Scentblock
    - No OP ...so for me that includes Trader Outpost, pyro-launchers, Red Talon recruits (weapons are fine if you can find them), no prestige or unearned radio call ins, no gifts from Undead Labs like the bloodmobile. No Cleo or daybreak items at all unless found in game.
    - Try not to go overboard with vehicle kills and dodge spam.

    Great episode Guru. The leg sweep is the way to go. Just dont execute them. They are harmless and thats one less zombie that can spawn in. 👍

    Awesome GURU, nicely done on the sample pick up rule play 🏆BTW the special loot case is across the were the fuel tank spots is at on top of that hill in one of those overlook towers 👍🏾

    Fun Siege. Looked like Daybreak out there with you blowing up the bloater clouds effectively.
    Regarding the car, not sure the "punishment" fit the "crime" lol... Considering you would have lost a car and very possibly a character, I personally think you should park that car and never use it again other than excess ruck storage. Just my opinion, I'm sure others think that is over the top.

      I thought the plague sample challenge would be more dangerous tbh. But I know what you are saying. Let me think about that one 👍😎

    Hey Guru I have another mod called "Stay Dead - Realistic Respawn" it has the same spawn rates but they decrease for each zombie you kill.
    If you clear enough zombies/hearts, the zombies will stop spawning, maybe thats more interesting :D

    There is a mod called no more room in hell. Basically, it makes infestations and plague hearts spawn in every available location. Me and my friend are gonna see if it works with the no mans land mod, but man, if it does, it's probably the hardest you can make the game. If it works, maybe try it?

    A while back on one of the streams, I remember Geoffrey saying that when you are in the proximity of zombies, the key binding for picking up an item will instead lock on to the nearest threat. Every time you tried to pick up a plague sample, a zombie was in front of you and this is the reason why you could not pick it up. You would probably have to change key bindings to remedy this, but then this doesn't really solve the problem. Jumping out of windows is also affected by the nearest threat of zombies and you would have to change key binding to resolve. This is not a fix. UL or WuShu should look into this and apply a proper fix for this.

      The number of zombies in this mod also makes it a pretty common occurrence. I would change my keys but I reckon I would forget them and the outcome be worse! Yeah, I hope they can make it a bit smarter as it seems to ignore your characters facing as well. Thanks for watching and the comment 👍😎
