Anker/Eufy is better then Ring at this point for the newer advancement in better camera quality and dual cameras and 360 degree cameras and cool features. I owned a large ring eco system and now slowly switching to Eufy.
How is this Secure Without Cloud storage when away from home if the source of stored footage is stored Locally inside the HomeBase unit that the thieves would surely destroy or take with them?
what is the advantage of this compared to the cameras in the app? Save it to the HDD I know. But if you want to access the cameras and watch the recordings of the day, are these recordings displayed quickly? Now that I have not yet connected any cameras to the home base, it sometimes takes a while before I can see the history of the cameras in the app. Loading these takes takes quite a while without a home base... does this work faster with the cameras connected to the home base?
Thank you for your review on all of these Eufy products. I am looking to streamline all of my security/smart devices, but Eufy is a little light on particular information. I am hoping you are willing to answer a couple of questions. -Can you use a smart home assistant (Google/Alexa) to disarm/switch the mode of the system and if so, is there a code involved? -Are there alternative methods for disarming the system without using the Eufy Security app? I would be using the app, but I have regular visitors who will not want to do that. Thank you in advance!
I have problem with my cameras…all my cameras that I downloaded after home base3 don’t record the events… I will have notifications but once I open the notification won’t show any record… note that all cameras are linked to home base 3
I found out the usb ports on back can charge your cameras. You can also download videos off the hard drive onto a thumb drive. the home base also has a speaker that be your doorbell or alarm. also the home base does not work with Apple homkit and maybe never will. the home base can store all your 24 7 video recordings on cameras that do that.
Isn't the homebase needed for the AI feature to identify individuals and not record them? As in, family members walking around the garage several times a day.
The cameras should just have bigger storage its 2024! easily 128gb Minimum should be in the camera and these bases if needed should allow X4 drives of 2.5" drives or M.2 drives thanks for the video much appreciated
I would assume you can access the files via a computer and if that happens you can make a backup with the additional benefit of shopping around for options.
thanks. i think this is a great intro to home base. currently, this thing is $99 on eufy weekly special. i have the smart door lock. chime already have a 128gb. will the data stored in home base and also on the chime? another question is if i also get the cloud service. will all 3 have data? just wondering if anyone knows the answer.

@@AutonomousMoo After the update, it seems that Eufy cams are better now. Not hundred percent okay but bettter. Still having issue with delayed notifications from S330 connected to HB3. And sometimes it's unable to play live video.
Does it keep running even if there is not internet reaching the house? Just wifi linking the cameras and the base? How far can you put the cameras from the base?
@@franciscofernandez6042mine around 5 meters but I am lucky if i’m able to view the cameras live. It’s day to day issues and i’m tired of searching solutions to countless problems. And no it wont record if there’s no internet.
Solid no nonsense video, liked subbed
You’re the only one that I’ve see that actually showed us how to sync other cameras to the HomeBase.
It has wifi, which you can enable after the initial setup and firmware update.

Can you look at the cameras on your computer?
Seems like what I need. I purchase a wires 8 came security system. Stilling sitting in the box because I am too lazy to crawl in the attic.
I noticed the one you have is made in the Philippines. The one I got from Amazon is made in China. Specs are identical to yours.
Can it record 24/7?

Sure thing!

Hello... Do you review that Security 4k camera? I'm looking for a Eufy PTZ outdoor security camera.
I installed a Seagate 500 gb 7200rpm but I don't know if it's the media that all my videos are saving onto. How can I tell
Any idea if the base station has a microphone or the ability to record anything without the cameras?
no it can not record
My homebase has been flashing blue and red for days. Resetting, turning off the router, etc. didn't help. eufy customer service didn't help either
What about going back to look at recordings?

Issue with having no cloud storage is thieves who can see eufy cameras look for your Homebase and take that with them.
Put it somewhere thieves wouldn’t find it.
@ the problem with that is it loses signal to the cameras.
@ Aren’t the cameras connected to WiFi? I just assumed they are, but maybe you’re right.

@@ab5441 You have to pay for additional cloud storage for that, and cloud storage does not record 24/7.
works with HomeKit?
I seen that it doesn’t.
