I understand that people have their own opinions of likes and dislikes but I cannot understand how seven people can dislike this? Outstanding and beautiful!
@youcandoit I'm sure....but I just simply appreciate great music
Obviously, there are 9 morons in our little group!
I agree this is a treasure
Just for ignorance
Possible reasons-
1- it is one of the most commonly played works on classical guitar and one could consider it played out and cliche
2- it is originally written for piano, this fact creates multiple possible reasons for not liking it which I won’t elaborate on for the sake of brevity
3- related to both of the above, it has been interpreted a million different ways by a million different performers on multiple different instruments. Not liking this version of it, in comparison to others, is entirely reasonable.
The greatest...his clarity balance and sensuality is unrivaled. There are better guitarist at one aspect but none who combine everything like Barrueco.
this is the one that feeds my soul
I can listen to him play all day
A true master. The people nitpicking over what they think 'musicality' is are people who will never attain this level. I never will, and I've been trying for years. Practice room guitar critics are the worst!
Putz.

Best version ever!! 👌🏼
De donde sacaste eso...Jason vieaux y Williams mirate eso
la piu bella esecuzione di quelle sentite finora tempo sentimento tecnica siìoppraffina bravissimo
Just my opinion but this is by far the best rendition of Asturias
Perhaps my favorite piece. Performed with craft and empathy
Una persona especial me recomendó esta canción. Definitivamente vale la pena escucharla, sentir.
❤
Barrueco en su apogeo.
¡¡Gran Maestro!!
Outstanding!
Absolut genial! Dankeschön
Albeniz simplemente maravilloso.!,
marvellous
There are many great guitarists but I haven't heard any greater than Manuel Barrueco.
I agree with you.
What about Jose Feliciano I think that he is as good as Manuel Barrueco
Paco de Lucia
i got to spend a week with him in high school while he recorded Tango Sensations, I was doing an internship with the Recording Engineer. Him and his wife were some of the friendliest people I've met. As good as a person as he is a guitarist.
You dont listen to classical guitar that much it seems
Love his tone.
Un hombre y una guitarra...
Fantastico
Beast
Bonne musique !
Awsome fucking awsome
👀👍👍👍👏👏👏
Llevo viendo muchas versiones de esta pieza y en casi todas van muy muy rápido. En mi humilde opinión gana más un poco más lento metiendo vibrato y de menos a más. Pero es cuestión de gusto.
Gran guitarrista.

can anybody tell me why does some parts are very similar to Rodroguez's Guitar Concerto?

Not perfect but the best I've ever heard
Ana Vidović ..
Pls clarify one thing
Is he using the ring finger in picking cuz I can't f 🥲
why at such a high tempo? it shows the mastery but lessens the beauty
Chopping wood while the dog is running around the tree...

He's wonderful. Seen him three times......but in my opinion, he doesn't quite have the musicality of John Williams.
robot untalented
Interesting. I have the exact opposite opinion. I find Barrueco more genuine than Williams.
WIlliams is too much the virtuoso. You must make love to this piece with tenderness.
Paula Clayton williams is no barrueco
maybe he confused technique with emotion and phrasing?
brano meraviglioso!
Too many notes.
disappointing
Lol, critical much? I can play the riff of 'Smoke on the Water' so I'm in position to judge. 😂
