- The Department of Home Affairs Portfolio Committee heard presentations from Home Affairs Minister, Dr. Leon Schreiber and his Team. What was presented is for SOUTH AFRICANS ONLY for now.
"South Africa belongs to all who live in it." The most adulterated words in our Constitution. The context to these words is the historical background of RSA in that South Africans; the Khoi, black, coloureds, whites, Indians were divided according to race which was the source of conflict, a system of apartheid and a colonial order of things. These words were referring to South Africans not any foreigner. foreigners were never a factor when these words were crafted. it is mostly the illegals, the drug pushers that sought to create ambiguity in interpretation in order to enact damage on South African people. It should have been easy for the ANC to explain this, and thus dispel the dangerous disinformation and propaganda based on these words against our people. Thus, there is nothing wrong with these words. It speaks to South Africans and no one else.

You and I know that and proudly embraced that sentence. However, nefarious intentions of illegal immigrants have used it in court against us and courts ruling in favour of the foreigners because of this sentence and other ambiguous words in the Constitution.

If the lawyer would be firm in translating that phrase it wouldn't be a problem at all, before you even open that constitution book it says clear that Constitution of South Africa. That means everything in that book refers to South Africa and South africans not anywhere else in the world, if you not from SA that book is not talking to you period. There is no way you would read history book then now you start to translate physical science😒.

The refugee centre moving to port of entries make more sense, i think they should also create a special task force to search for people who have exceeded their stay in the country arrest illegals sort of like a police unit but for immigration
They don't really need people who will be to go and search for them when they exceeded they stay. They can have 3 colors on they system. Example: Green is for when they entered the country, yellow for when is 20 days before they have to leave as a reminder and a red colour for when they still in the country so that those colors can appear on the system and have an alarm type of things and for the system to automatically sending them a sms when is yellow as a reminder that they only have 20 days left in the country. When it is red, the police must go knock on they doors and arrest them and let them be in jail for 1 week before they will be deported to they countries.

Mr Aron was the brain behind this white paper to make it difficult for other foreigners that want to do what they brothers and sisters have been doing all these years by entering and never goes back or coming to do whatever they want and never return. The Minister wants the new white paper which will metamorphosize into a legal bill to align with the constitution.
Home Affairs has paid so much money in lost court cases because of not following the law. The spirit of the GNU is to follow and respect the rule of law. So this bill will come to reality in 2027 only to complete the work of aligning with the constitution.
Everything must be in line with our Constitution so Home Affairs don't lose cases in case of litigation.
