Thank you @jessvanden I am the owner of Whimsically Modern (last critique) I keep watching it on replay to make sure I catch all the useful info! So odd the thumbnails look different on my computer! I will adjust them right away! And thank you for the compliments on my branding. I worked so hard on it! Beautiful shops. Thanks for the critiques Jess. I loved the suggestion of the scrapbook paper for branding. Didn't think of this. You could have the products in the shop alternated in your brand colours as the background, dependant on the product colours.

I really enjoyed hearing these critiques of Etsy shops. It's hard to be objective about our own efforts, so having your expert opinions about others' shops can help us apply those ideas to our own shops. I've been a wholesaler for years, selling to galleries and gifts shops. I've also had an Etsy shop for years, mostly for shops and galleries to have a place to look at a small portion of my products in order to place wholesale orders with me. This year I am working on transitioning to making Etsy more a direct sales business, but whew....the platform has exploded! My branding is that I individually cut handcrafted, sustainable, eco friendly, affordable gifts using reclaimed hardwoods. I have an Etsy shop (Bybrianandcindy). I was just on vacation, put the shop on vacation mode. The day we were coming back, I got 2 emails from Etsy that two of our listings were deactivated saying they were drug paraphernalia-the two listings were 1.) handmade cigar pens that my husband makes and 2.) a penlight.
Any advice on this? How in the heck are these items drug paraphernalia? I am so frustrated and my husband is completely baffled!
