Given the description of God in the Bible, I’ve always wondered how, if God, who was born into a Jewish family, is black (by biblical description), then how are we not Jewish? Given the description of God in the Bible, I’ve always wondered how, if God, who was born into a Jewish family, is black (by biblical description), then how are we not Jewish? But when you grow up and see other people calling themselves Jews and only know yourself to be black, and nothing else.. it’s hard to shift that mindset.
