You know, this only just occurred to me, but in FP1, Milla gets severely injured because of Brevon's actions, and this time around it's Lilac who gets severely injured because of Merga's actions. Granted, neither of them were the direct cause of their injuries (unless you're playing Milla's story in FP1), but they still wouldn't have gotten hurt like that if they hadn't done what they did. The only difference is, it was somewhat intentional on Brevon's part, but unintentional on Merga's. Anyone wanna bet it'll be Carol's turn in FP3?
Milla was even worse. Not only she got brainwashed by Brevon but she also transform into mutant form to force fight Lilac or Carol. She mostly get a lot of injury from that fight.

Yeah, is there anything you earn from 100% all four stories with the time capsules and true final boss or just nothing? You did great on the playthoughs.
I feel a lot is learned from 100% the story, considering you learn more deeply about the sins of “The Magisters Ancestors”! Sure Merga’s not a complete angel, but she’s not a complete demon either, the “Old Magisters” made her like that with the hell they placed on Merga’s people &friends!!! (Talk about us creating your own demons) So it feels really really good to “dissolve” Merga’s revenge!!! I’d we rather have Merga as one less enemy & possibly an ally than 2 enemies!!! Brevern is still out there, and I’d rather not see the two together!!! So, you can either “shoot first & ask questions later”, or like a true hero, “slow-down & put some extra effort into making amends”… then you can see the consequences or rewards of your actions. Sure Brevern maybe too power-drunk to be reformed, but I’d rather save/free Merga than be anything like the “Old corrupt Magestry”, that’s like common sense 101 for me! (Or maybe I just like me trying to be & play the good cop, “giggles”)😅
I think it's better to compare Brevon with Merga instead. She gets six phases to his three but in a way, they are more like mini phases. Personally, I found Brevon to be harder, not because of a guard button but because his hard mode Randomizes his attack patterns. Also, he had more presence in the entire series.
@@JohnnyTightlips2007i found brevon way harder too, i have only died to merga once, beaten her on 4 different files, 2 milla 1 neera 1 carol and only died as neera because shes not too easy, i was fairly disappointed in mergas fight
