According the Lian Li recommendations for fan placement, they recommend to have the radiator fans as intake, the bottom fans as intake and two rear fans as exhaust. This setup creates a higher pressure and this way the rear exhaust fans work perfectly. Would love to see a new test with the results.
Not to mention i don’t want to stare at the BACKs of the fans. Especially in a case where 8 infinty fans would look so mint. Or the new TL fans with a cool video effect over the LCD screens
@@AlanGresham I will and am. But having to buy them individually, and the fact that they don’t come as an option for AIO is frustrating from a company that designed two beautiful products that don’t directly coordinate
@@Shank_Sinatraahhh gotcha. I don’t do AIO’s but still should heave realised. Upside is you can use one or two of the fans for exhaust I suppose, but still a waste.
WHY DIDN’T YOU SET THE AIO TO INTAKE??? I have one 30mm 360mm rad and a second 45mm 360mm rad in my kids Vision. It’s whisper quiet and I have the motherboard in the lower position so it has two exhaust fans. No reason at all why I couldn’t run a 4090 on air with a 14900K in it if I didn’t want the custom loop.
Bro… just run the radiator as intake like 99.9% of people buying this case will. Sometimes I think your goal is to put out useless data that completely wrecks your comparison chart.
you set up the fans for the worst cooling possible. You need to intake air from the side cooler fans and exhaust it out the rear while keeping the bottom intake fans
I was going to get a nice powerful PC build with this case, but I changed over to the corsair 6500x case because I was concerned about temperatures... and I really like the color options on the corsair more than I like the extra piece of glass on top.
I am in love with this case. I will be transplanting my 5800x3d/7800xt build out of my cooler master masterbox mesh into one of these as soon as I can get my hands on one. Looks like I will also need some more Lian Li fans as well.
Would the airflow be adequate if I run 240 AIO exhaust out the back, 3x140 intake from the bottom, and 3x120 exhaust out the side (and use fan curves to ensure slightly positive pressure)? The hot air from the GPU will partially mix with the radiator at the rear, but for a mid-range CPU and GPU will that setup be adequate?
I’d try six intake and the AIO as exhaust. There is enough mesh in the rear panel that I reckon this would work well. Other option is the use the AIO and lower three as intake and the side 360 as exhaust.
great video , going to build one in a few months seen your full video of the build +3hour great video also , going to get gigabyte aorus z790 elite ice MB , with gigabyte white 4070 ti super gpu , i7 14700k cpu , lian li lcd sl inf AIO , but changing fans with the normal TL better cfm , bottom 3 140 TL intake and one 120 tl lcd in the back hope its going to work out :D
its a shame this case is looking so clean (makes me rly wanna get it for my next build) planning on getting a ryzen 7900x3d alongside the 7900 xtx but im worried it will get hot with the lack of top fans :D
I have a question? can i fit a gigabyte aorus master x670e 30.5mm in the Lian Li o11 vision case (28mm) case. Is over lap bad?! Any help would be great!
Bro suggest me a ram for my z790-E gamining wifi ll mobo woth my intel i9 14900k.... Its showing 6000mhz supported in cpu supported website.. But mobo support 8000mhz.. So wht? Can i do?
@@RobeytechLive the case hardware on the o11 Vision comes with two motherboard external standoffs that mount to top middle and middle middle holes on an atx motherboard. I didn't understand why 4090 might have temp issues? airflow seems good enough for any components. okay, 4090 will be 65 instead of 60 degrees, but it still really good temps.
In gaming yes. For rendering or heavier GPU tasks it could be an issue. We just let folks know that temps are warmer, so they can make an informed decision!
Hey @robeytechlive I just bought a build with 4090 and the 14900k and your comment makes me nervous u said not to get it but I did is my pc going to have issues?
I mean it's a great looking case but after 10min looking at it, what's the point? In the end, you're better off with something with great cooling like Lian Li Lancool 216, no?
No, the case isn’t the problem here - the build is the problem. My guess is they couldn’t source reverse Unifans so they pretended it wasn’t an option.
my hyte case is actually gar-bage in my opinion, i have the y60 like the bracket for my gpu arrived broken and my audio jack is now having connection issues and yes i’ve contacted cs abt this and been left on read every time, lol so it’s been great down here

Hardware Canucks benchmarked it (with dual exhaust fans in the rear) against the O11D Evo and temps were identical.

Why not try the bottom intake. The side intake and the rear with 2 120s?
I really like this channel because it has proper english subtitles on the videos. It really helps.

So jealous. Beautiful build Rob. Blessings.
I'd love to build with this in black and use the messy cabling to have my own Borg cube pc tbh
Why don’t you do push pull on this and also 3*140 that would make it run a lot cooler
I appreciate the info in the video, but I wish you had tested the configuration that Lian Li actually recommends with the AIO as intake.

custom fan curves fixes all problems, love this case
I found a build where they covered the forehead with a 8.8" lcd screen and its epic

I’d be curious to see testing with the msi suprim liquid 4090 with the rad in the back. Probably in a push pull config.
Beautiful! I hope you enjoy this beauty!
No top exhaust?
Should be slightly taller, seems odd when it cuts off where the mobo ends.
Can always drop the motherboard to the lower position, and get two exhaust fans as a bonus. That’s what I did.

Q! Can I put a hidden connector motherboard on this case?
No, the BTF version is coming though
do you think the fan on the side wall is necessary or can my ass who loves aesthetics put my mini monitor there 😂
