  • Before WWII, or better yet, before Japan's invasion of China in 1937, Shiro Ishii and Masaji Kitano were respected medical researchers. Ishii had graduated from the prestigious Kyoto Imperial University in 1916 , and Kitano from the equally prestigious Tokyo Imperial University in 1920. Both later received their Ph.D's in the study of infectious disease and related areas. Kitano was particularly interested in the effects of disease and injury on the intestines and digestive system.
By all accounts, Shiro Ishii was brilliant, but a strange and unpleasant person to be around. During his college career, he grew different kinds of bacteria and kept them as “pets” in petri dishes in his room. These “pets” weren't some post-adolescent way of getting attention or standing out in a crowd, as high school and college student often do when trying to find themselves. No, apparently, Ishii really treated the dishes full of bacteria as friends, talking to them, and seemingly preferring their “company” over that of his fellow students when they asked him to go to social events.
He also seemed to be one of those people who viewed most other people as objects to be used or which got in his way. Many of his colleagues at school described him being “pushy” and “indifferent” to the work that they were doing themselves. It also seems as if Ishii was most comfortable being alone in a lab - he would often study and work at night when others were asleep. In the Japanese culture of then and now, anti-social behavior of this type was and still is, to a certain degree, frowned up. What's more, Ishii further alienated his colleagues by messing up the lab everyone used - and had cleaned up the prior afternoon. In the morning when they went into work, they would find the laboratory in disarray, with dirty equipment strewn all over.

Unfortunately, the only way to understand anything of living bodies, human or animal, is to experiment. Plastic surgery, Botox, antibiotics, beauty aids, etc, et al, can only be sold to the public or used for medicinal purposes through horrendous experiments.
The study of Anatomy begins with dead bodies and stealing dead bodies - where does the good and bad begin? Mengele's experiments and results are outcomes we use today in common walks of life. There will always be crazy people who are enthralled by the macabre. It's those people governments need to justify people using Botox and fetal placenta for personal use. Let's not go into the bio engineering they put on our processed foods and make people crazy - like gender confusion. It's actually a fact the "stuff" they put in the foods we eat cause derangement, true confusion of common fact like what is a boy and what is a girl. People don't want to read the medical journals and published papers just like this video gets its' facts from.

Oops, I've watched a lot of videos and read a lot of comments, but it's very rare to see an opinion that understands an extremely simple fact with a childlike honesty. When people advocate for just cause and ideals, people become delusional. Starting from that basic structure, you want to stack up the blocks and make a case, right? I think that will shape the future as a logic for building a true society.

Second: I said that the Germans and Japanese were TWO of the worst regimes to ever exist. Britain is still up there in how much they harmed people, I just think they come in 4th/5th on the atrocity totem.
Did the British Empire ever force dads to rape their daughters? Did they rape women to deliberately impregnate them infect them with STDs before cutting them open? Did the British Empire ever put a naked mom and her baby in a room with a red-hot metal floor to see if the mom would stand on her baby to save herself? Did the Brits ever take twins and beat one of them to death to do a before-and-after experiment?
Look, I'm not defending Britain's horrific crimes against countless people (Canadian residential schools, Boer War concentration camps, South African Apartheid, beheading during the Mau Mau Uprising, constant attempts at genociding/starving Ireland, their treatment of India, Australian Stolen Generations, involvement in the Moriori Genocide, etc.). All of that stuff is horrifying, but the stuff Japan did was on this whole other level.
Even Gandhi himself admitted that the Germans were a very different beast compared to the British, that passive resistance would not have worked for the Jews because the Germans simply wanted them all dead. Britain was a brutal and oppressive enslaver, Germany and Japan were outright sadistically genocidal and hellbent on the outright extermination of all who opposed them.
Not everything has a "both sides" narrative. Some criminals are just plain worse than others and deserving of far more condemnation.

@@donalvarez4006 Do you expect me to go to Japan and ask the Japanese government to stop hiding their past? If I did that, I'd be detained right away, then deported. What I am actually saying is that you shouldn't hate the current generation of Japanese for what their Ancestors did, Japan's government is the problem, not the people of Japan.
