Dear God, deliver me from lustful thoughts.
I struggled with lust. I fell into pornography and self satisfaction. I dealt with this for about four years. But God came and healed me ! And it was only when I truly repented and sought God that I got healed. So let this be your reminder that God still heals and hears our prayers. Don’t be afraid or ashamed HE cares for us. 1 Peter 5:7 ♡︎

@@CAI.DREAMS Yeah ofc 😊 I just began seeking God more and in that time i resisted the temptations what made me stronger in the spirit and after a lot of prayer and faith and time God heald me. The healing process was basically Isolation for me. Where God purified and sanctified me. Working on my character and mind and heart I would say. :)
Can i ask a question? I want to repent but (as silly as this may sound, i don't know if i truly mean it) I'm just scared of going to hell. How did you get to a place where you were truly tired of falling into pornography? (I hope this made sense) lol.

What REALLY helped me with overcoming lust when I became a Christian was asking God to take away my sexual desires until it is time for me to get married. I know that they were a gift from Him, and He has so graciously taken them and tucked them away for safe keeping until I need them again. I also am careful of what I watch, read, etc. to be responsible and not stir those feelings up again.
If you reading this are struggling with this I would encourage you to ask Him to do the same for you! 🙏🏼

He still didn’t remove my sexual desires. I prayed for Him to remove it months ago but I’m still burning. Young single healthy men who are abstaining burn a lot
@@tainoloco2361 I cannot imagine how it must be for men, and I am sorry to hear that you are still struggling. I still believe that God can do it for you because He did it for me. I would encourage you to also abstain from anything that stirs desire within you. Personally, when I prayed this prayer I also cut out all secular music that spoke of anything about love and desire, I also do not look at, read or watch anything that would stir those desires. This is really important because although God can temporarily remove it we also must be responsible not to pick it back up. I encourage you not to give up hope, continue to bring it before Him until He does it, and I will pray for you also. Love and Blessings 🙏🏼🤍
@@tainoloco2361 Hey I was in prayer this morning and my mind ran on you.. I know I already replied, but I wanted to also tell you that sometimes when we really struggle with something it may require deliverance. I know I needed deliverance for something that I had had been pleading with the Lord to take from me, and He didn’t right away because it was demonically influenced and I needed to reject it and go through deliverance. I am not saying that is your case, but it would not hurt to go through a deliverance prayer for lust. There are people like Isaiah Salvidar and Vlad Savchuk on RUclips that have videos on those prayers if you’re interested. And lastly, I encourage you to use those moments of weakness to seek God. When you feel those temptations and desires. As hard as it may be, discipline yourself and go to God. Pick up your Bible and read something, because the word of God is our weapon against our enemy, sin. Also talk to Him, tell Him everything you’re feeling because He’s not afraid of our ugly parts. Give Him those feelings and ask Him for grace and He will surely help you.
Be encouraged, beloved. God sees your struggle and He honors your will to obey His commands. He will never abandon you. I will continue to pray for you.🙏🏼🫶🏼

Nonetheless I have been praying for you and I wanted to say that sometimes when we really struggle with something it may require deliverance. The struggle is real, but thats precisely the reason Jesus was crucified on that cross, so we could also overcome sin and lust, which is indeed one of the most destructive sins one can deal with.
Amenn!!! A pastor once said: sin is like a roommate that constantly trashes our house. But because of what Jesus has done for us the house has been paid for: we are now the owners! Unfortunately, we don’t walk in the gift of the cross, we don’t accept the price that’s been paid so we keep letting sin into our homes thinking it has a right to be there. It doesn’t!! We have been set free by the blood of Jesus. We will be tempted by the enemy, sin will come knowing on our door, even Jesus was tempted. But we have authority to say NO GET OFF MY PROPERTY IN JESUS NAME! 🗣️🗣️

I agree with you! A lot of us were exposed early on to lust.
"I will live a fulfilled life with or without a partner" - no safer place to be or else the presence of God.
Prayer and words like this will doubtless strengthen the will to overcome.
Though not a woman yet I'm so glad how the words of Christ coming through you helps all.
The crazy dreams where you wake up feeling like you sinned literally started with me the more God shielded me from lust in my day to day life.
Thank you for mentioning, that for us women hormones have such a big impact on our feelings! Since I realized, that I have certain wishes and feelings always at the same time every month I was able to be a bit more compassionate to myself because I now know, that it's just part of my biology and will get back to normal in a couple of days... So, ladies, don't condemn yourselves for it!

I found out I was pregnant by a man I dated when I was in the world. Since I gave my life to Christ we are unequally yoked and he’s not worthy to be husband. It’s hard to deal with the fact I now have a baby with a man who isn’t nor would ever be my husband but I know Christ gives me strength and everyday he heals my heart 🤍

Same, I regretted ever dating him, I still do ...and I'm struggling to forgive myself. It took a long time for me to appreciate/ accept the pregnancy.

I think Messages like this will really pull and stretch people but in a positive way. Sometimes we as believers forget that EVERY desire and "ambition" must be first submitted to the lord. If we don't do this we risk creating a false Idol in our hearts that MUST be destroyed. Great message Deborah.
Please pray with me regarding daydreaming.
Fantasy is one of the most subtle yet evil sins out there. You have to remember that your fantasies submit to the Lord. Cut out all the stimuli that might be causing it. If you're watching any fictional content, I highly advise you to stop. If you're in fandom spaces, delete the account and leave the space. Identify the thought and remember 2 Corinthians 10:5: We take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. I pray that you have the mind of Christ and that you can identify the desires in your heart that fantasy is stimulating and that you may take those to the Father. Fantasy is absolutely a backdoor for the enemy to sneak in sexual sin so please be vigilant. God is the only thing that can satisfy the yearning in your soul. I hope the Prince of Peace covers you. You are not alone.
@toniodejimi3905 This is helpful for me as well although I'm not the OP commentor. Fantasizing is my biggest struggle
I struggle with it too, but when I’m trying to fight the temptation (which I sinfully do not always try to do) I repeat Phillipians 4:6, it says to think on whatever is TRUE. When I’m fantasizing I’m thinking on what is false, and coveting a different reality then my own, which stems from ungratefulness

I do this so much too. I’ve done this for such a long time. Like a really long time. And I was so addicted to it I needed to be on my own, daydream, and make up false scenarios and I would catch myself sitting on my bed for hours and hours and hours on end doing this. I did this to:
1. Pass time - I was bored and when left with my thoughts it left me with too much so I ran to daydreaming
2. Did not like my own reality - I ran from my own reality by making my own. I lived in my own world with made up people. And fantasized everything I’ve never done.
3. Dreams - I daydreamed things I wanted to look like, do, and experience. Instead of working out I imagined my dream body.
These are false desires. Reality can be hard to function in when you’re never there almost. Many people do it and don’t understand how truly important is it to stay alert when this happens.
This video is an absolute blessing, I find myself dealing with desires that some days feel like a burden and so isolating. I was getting to know a guy I met recently and ultimately had to take space away from him because our values didn’t align and some days I feel that burning desire to keep him in my life he makes me feel so bubbly and it’s hard to give myself grace for still liking him. It’s also hard because I did find a lot of comfort and happiness in his company. I will pray about this and please pray for me to have strength and grace for this part of my life. Thank you for your wisdom girl! ❤

God does have a husband for you 💯 lol I just feel this strongly even though it’s not guaranteed. God grants the desires of the righteous heart. You don’t idolize marriage & that’s where you have to be before your spouse is revealed. It’s a beautiful thing to be content with just you & God 🫶🏽

This is SO ON TIME ! I’ve been avoiding talking to God, I’ve allowed my heart to harden so that i can entertain my desires without the guilt , I’ve been giving into the loneliness and didn’t want the “burden “ of upholding Gods words and feeling like the only one set apart always

A thing that I’ve observed in the body of Christ is that we often times use the scripture seek ye first the kingdom of God for everything except for when it comes to marriage. Suddenly we don’t have to seek God on this matter. We have to understand that marriage is one of that thing that will be added unto you. The same way you know the other things were of God for you, is the same way you’ll know when God send you you’re spouse.
I wished that I had never gone to my older brother's room and looked at his computer would kept me from a lot of hardships, but thankfully God saved me His mercy is great.
The fact that I woke up this morning and asked God that if I do end up dating again, to send me “the one”. The man that is God fearing, the man that will love me and my kids unconditionally (and vice verse), the man that will also be my very best friend, etc. This was right on time. I’m praying for us!!! Girl, God has been using you to directly help me on my walk with Him. Along with my prayer for finances (which God answered amazingly!), I've also been praying this week about a guy who I've happened to recently reconnect with. After months of being fine, i find my feelings have reemerged THIS week. You've reminded me to put my emotions back on the altar, and to be ok with whatever the Lord says, because His love is much more than enough!! Please continue to pray for me sis🙏🏾💕

We are FAR more useful in ministry being single than we could ever be by being married! Craving to be married is craving after a person and not craving after God.
