I drove a truck for 7 years. I now am in college at 30 aiming to become a registered dietitian because I want to wage war on processed food and subpar ingredients which are causing all this chronic illness in my fellow americans. I've got the knowledge and studies now but nobody wants to take dietary advice from a truck driver so i need a fancy accronym before my name. I stopped classes last semester due to getting stuck in the mindset of "what is the point" after watching this video I realize I know what my battle is. Going to go ahead and enroll in classes for next semester. Thanks definitely going to follow this guy.
Teaching my grandkids to work on my engine and eventually my car as we do the swap. It gives me a great feeling that they are learning something other then video games.
Oh I have all of that as I'm currently experiencing 10 years of chronic homelessness contributing chronic pain and disability which prevent me from really being successful. I rise & grind everyday when I'd rather take a bullet at this point, sometimes I ask myself what's the point because I don't feel like what I'm fighting for is worth it. But I do enjoy the adventure for the most part I've learned to relax a little bit but I've also developed cptsd from all the trauma and shock, the only saving grace in the beauty that I seek is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whose Holy Spirit lives in me. And you're right you have to fight for your freedom and for your calling your destiny or your right to be manifested on the earth as a son of God, the devil will oppose you but lately in the sense of battle ready in interstate of war and preparedness spiritually and learning to wheeled my authority from a place of Victory as the devil is defeated before he's even attacked me... Jesus is King and when I asked the Holy Spirit one time why he allowed such trials by fire he said to me because you are supposed to overcome by the word of your testimony and the blood of the Lamb.
Amen brother. You have grit. The LORD knows you have grit. You must be one tough man for our Lord to allow so much to be put on you. I'm ashamed of any complaining I have done. Thank you for checking me and inspiring me. Hang in there brother. Press on it won't be very long. God bless you sir.
How do you find a fight that has higher stakes than military service? Combat deployed, countless schools, and the grind? Ten years later I still find it challenging to take on an endeavor that comes to the level of my past life. What are your thoughts?
Let me know when you figure it out! 12 years out and my only goal is to make life the best I can for my kids. That's great but personally I'm miserable. The statement that every man needs a fight is profound! I feel like the day to day is especially hard on vets. The day before I got out my 1st Sgt asked why the company was having low moral as a whole. The back story is most of us just got back from Iraq and the next deployment got canceled just a few days after signing wills and power of attorney and all. The question was asked months later. So I looked at him a simply said we have no super bowl.
It's weird how i couldn't answer a simple question like "what would you be doing if money wasn't an issue?" it's really strange/sad how much i don't know myself. i gotta fix that

10 years here as well. Even despite managing all of my productive habits. Society is just extremely selfish and self-serving. Keep this in mind.

Wild at heart sucks. It is Christian theology repackaged as self help for men.
Dude you have no clue what you're talking about. Get lost
It's a shitty book.
@rjlicano Well since Christian Theology is correct and John uses its concepts accurately you are wrong.
You are boinking John Eldridge, huh?
@@rjlicano No, just your mom.
