You didn't show how to attach step one--that black bar looking thing. Also, it doesn't look like you've attached it to your bar. Can you explain how this piece goes on please?
@@OZBros yes the L shaped piece. I think I figured it out. It goes on the bar under the handle grip. I found a manual with a pic. Thanks for the reply. Also, is there a link for the second pole shaft and parts you bought for a seemless switchout?
Would you ever consider holding this attachment vertically and chopping away at flower bed soil with 1/2 inch roots running horizontally? I need to loosen up and turn roots into debris so I can rake it and get a fresh start on neglected flower bed.
@@OZBros I have that attachment and it was excellent in open soil, even compacted dry clay soil. But when it hits a root, the cultivator jumps and it seems as if the angry bouncing and grabbing which that attachment dishes out, it is just not good. There needs to be an element of 'cutting' like a hand held hatchet to get through some weeds and roots.
@@OZBrosI purchased the STA1500, PH1400 and ABB1203-1. Glad I saw your video since the ABB1203-1 description clearly says "This product is only compatible with EGO Commercial String Trimmer STX3800" so would have never known it could fit the STA1500.
@@OZBros so to confirm I would need to buy a second STA1500 string trimmer - this might be my only option since the BCA1220 ego brush cutter attachment is hard to find.

Ego actually makes a small Cultivator Attachment. Which would be perfect for what you need
