Makes sense, Cats generally avoid prey larger than a Mouse, and as Predators they instinctively avoid injury when possible. A bruised puss can't hunt as well. Rabbits will fight if they cannot run, and they fight fiercely because they think they are fighting to stay alive.
omfg that's great. Meanwhile, my cat, ever since she was a kitten, has made it her mission to punk my dog. My fully grown pitbull. Who could literally swallow her whole and still eat dinner later. My dog stays in my room/the yard for her safety, not the cat's.
@@xenodrone3367 I know but considering Lopunny's droopy ears are APPARENTLY so important that they named it after a a lop-eared rabbit, it seems like Buneary might be following the ear style theme, and the fat it's used like a recoil spring was basically the designer's way of incorporating half-droopy rabbits in some kind of interesting way.
As someone who had a bunny, I can attest to what he’s saying. It took a loooong time for my bun to like me, but once he did, he was my best friend and I adored him.

Well my favourite pokemon is gardevoir and the reason i love her is in the pokedex. (I always thought that gardevoir and Lopunny's design was a mistake, still is actually)
I mean, I’ve rarely had people question my reasons. But I guess it’s cause I’m upfront. To me, the risqué design only makes her that much more appealing to me. She’s hot AND she’ll kick your ass if you’re a perv... at least mine would. Cause I know the creeps do exist. Mention Lopunny or Vaporeon and it always gets weird with some people. 😂 But in all seriousness, I just find Lopunny somewhat empowering. Always have. ☺️
False. Lopunny’s concept predated r34. And the original artists want nothing to do with content that desecrates and completely misrepresents their character. Official lopunny artwork = Loppuny. R34 material = shoddy caricature.
@@SageSea1 so, you're saying you can draw loppuny better than ALL r34 artists because it's R34? pfft... i see some of your logic is already flawed. also, "desecration" of art is a matter of perspective. Some artists don't care if there's lewd fanart of their characters, while some artist actually welcome it or even draw it themselves. a few even drew themselves in lewd art so is that "desecration" of their own selves? sorry, but you need to rethink some of what you said. the only correct part of the statement is that the original design of lopunny came out before r34 of lopunny did. But my point was still that r34 of the series in general already existed before lopunny did.
@@DarkFrozenDepths No, I’m not saying that. I was referring to the original artwork. Read my comment again. Either way, there is definitely some talented r34 work of lopunny. Either way, the *vast* majority of it has no artistic merit. I’m sure there are some artists out there who don’t mind r34 of their material. But why would Pokémon and it’s designers like material which *completely* misrepresents their character, and abuses it’s trademark name as a nothing more than an unmerited, replaceable canvas for fetishes? That isn’t respecting the character. I’ve seen some tasteful NSFW content of the character, but few and far between. Again, you need to remember character vs. caricature. “Rule 34 existed before lopunny did.” Pretty sure this is untrue, and even if it did, it was an incredibly small aspect of internet culture. Next to nobody was aware of it, and thankfully so
@@SageSea1 You do realize how much Nintendo has "fetishized" it's own characters before right? I mean hell, they own Bayonetta now which is basically a series loaded with fetish fuel. When you don’t know that herbivores like eating bones because of the calcium that they need... Yeah ... rabbits are also eaten by deer... rarely... but occasionally enough that they should fear them... and do.
@@meme_market5949 actually, things will kill and eat other animals no matter the situation when they need a specific resource, it turns out, plants don’t have calcium and birds do, so they eat birds. Of course food is a reason, but it’s often more resources.
@@meme_market5949 Its not about food, the deer can have all the grass in the world, its a specific nutrient or mineral they are lacking, a deer wouldn't be able to digest rabbit meat but it can still get something like calcium from the skeleton of a dead rabbit
@Egg T Because there are plenty of mineral or seaweed based supplements instead that are far more effective. Also one of the main reasons we don't want cattle eating bones is that they can contract the botulism toxin from them and often die. Crushed bones do get sold but normally for glue or fertiliser instead.
I've never seen Lopunny as "sexy". Partly because as a kid I only cared about how much damage I could deal in a single blow in whatever game I was playing. I was always the kid that favored damage over defense. In fact in some games I didn't put any upgrades into my defense, only damage.

"It has shed any fur that got in the way of it's attacks" Wait, does that mean the black parts on the legs are actually bald and the skin under it's fur is black? Really changes perspective on the design.
No. It’s very clearly an external piece of clothing. Also, the character didn’t just lose “fur,” it completely lost shape, structure and proportion. And lopunny’s body fur was designed to be very short. To where you couldn’t see any light gleam off of individual fibers. Very short. There wasn’t much to shed off it’s thighs, hips, torso, head, etc. the lighter colored fur on It’s ears, wrists, sure. That’s what the Pokédex entry is eluding to. The long ear fur could get in the way of attacks
Reminder Buneary has a starting friendship level of 0 (the only non-legendary to have such), AKA it hates you with the strength of literal gods. Or it's shy
That really isn't quite what a tsundere is, actually. A tsundere is a character that is known to switch back and forth between being one of two moods: nice and sweet, or irritable and bitchy. Having said that, it should be noted that not all tsundere characters are in their more "prickly" mood by default, there are those who are sweethearts normally, but can become VERY temperamental if upset. It's just that when most people think of tsundere characters, they think of the type that you are referencing that are normally bitchy by default, and I think that the popularity of Fire Emblem Awakening and the character by the name of Severa (who, btw, fits this description to a 'T') might have had something to do with this being the way that people perceive tsunderes.

"Easily frightened"? The first day I got my rabbit, she walked up to my cat, thumped her foot on the floor three times, and bucked my cat in his face... Now my cat is afraid of her. I swear she's a prey turned predator, and I now have to keep her in her cage for my cat's safety.
Makes sense, Cats generally avoid prey larger than a Mouse, and as Predators they instinctively avoid injury when possible. A bruised puss can't hunt as well. Rabbits will fight if they cannot run, and they fight fiercely because they think they are fighting to stay alive.

I like Gardevoir because she was the first Pokémon I caught
I mean, I’ve rarely had people question my reasons. But I guess it’s cause I’m upfront. To me, the risqué design only makes her that much more appealing to me. She’s hot AND she’ll kick your ass if you’re a perv... at least mine would. Cause I know the creeps do exist. Mention Lopunny or Vaporeon and it always gets weird with some people. 😂
But in all seriousness, I just find Lopunny somewhat empowering. Always have. ☺️
"Why is Lopunny BUILT this why?"
Cause Nintendo already knew about Rule 34
Cause they try to be hate by us anti rule34
And it's not just Nintendo either. A lot of companies knows that "sex sells" and will fetishize some characters usually, or even ALL their characters in some cases.
You'd have to be incredibly blind to not notice that. Hell, just look at some of the female trainers. There's literally one called "Beauty" which easily is fetishizing. Nintendo knows about "eye candy" and does indeed use it.
