    Heads Up Guys. Saw James taking stuff out of the fridge that you don't need to keep cold. The thing is... a full fridge/freezer will retain its temperature better than a fridge/freezer that's empty or half empty. The less air space you have in your fridge or freezer the better. Even if you have to use ice bottles or water bottles... keep your fridge full of something. Yes it will take energy initially to cool the items down but once they are cold they will help keep it cold... especially when you're opening it often. When you open the fridge or freezer the cold air leaks out. And it is replaced with warmer outside air. Soooo, the less air in the fridge or freezer the less temperature leakage you get. I live in Corpus Christi Texas (Hurricane Alley) and whenever there's a storm in the Gulf I make sure my fridge and freezer is full of stuff (often it's just water bottles in the fridge and ice bottles in the freezer) in case the power goes out. It helps keep the fridge and freezer colder longer... if your freezer is half-full put some water bottles in there and turn them into ice that way you can turn the freezer off for a little while everyday... and another great thing is when they melt they don't leak everywhere. So if you guys get another refrigerator-freezer system try it out. Trust me... it will make a huge difference. Anyway you guys look great. Glad to see you're having fun doing your thing. And your Spanish is awesome... later... :)

    You may want to install a new 12 volt fridge. Build your own cooler or an insulated box. A 100 watt solar panel will run a fridge when the sun is out. good luck :)

    20 years ago I ran a propane fridge. After I dd the math I realized I was spending a fortune on propane.
    So I got a 3 ft tall bar fridge for $300 and 2 250 watt solar panels for $400 and a 24 Volt inverter . No charge controller and no battery. I kept 4 bottles of frozen water in that little freezer up top , and it kept the food nice and cold all night when there was no sun. Next morning it would start up again and keep those bottles frozen. If you want to go luxury and get a couple deep cycle batteries and a charge controller ,you'll have extra power for your electronics

    .... Like how Kimmie is quite the little bargainer and makes sure that nothing is lost through the difference in language .... so does that mean that the propane stove is gone as well ... changes are happening, that scenario where you put up with it cause that is what is there and one day "HAD IT" and it is gone to make room for new whether it be a fridge or even a routine one has .... change is awesome, makes room for bigger and better solutions to take place .... have fun be safe, save our oceans .....

    You should buy a soft sided fridge that runs on electric . I have seen one sailing channel that has one and has used it for years. It was set up to plug into a lighter but they changed that and made it fixed into the wiring. It now runs of solar and the other electrical power gens they have. Delos also converted from propane because of the propane problem. Each place had different bottles and fittings and would not fill there bottles so away they went .

    You can find 3 way fridges. They have them for RV's in North America and I am sure they have them elsewhere also. get a few solar panels and 2 deep cel battery's and a good pure sine power inverter and that will take care of the fridge issue. Also, I agree with the electric motor for the dingy. You can find good used ones cheep. I found one off one of those Facebook buy and trades for $50. Canadian that needed 30 seconds work to get running again. And for just cruising to the marina or to a beach, that 37 lb thrust will work fine. also very light and easy to remove so it won't get stolen

    LOL. Talk about a work in progress. Starts out fixing the dimples and comes in and decides to rip the fridge out... Classic. Maybe a solar set up for a small fridge, park it in a corner, stick it under a seat... With the solar and a battery you should be good to go with minimal ongoing cost and still manage to have those essential cold beers... Good video mate, love the wrap up. See ya on the next one... ;-}

    Hope you guys get a new dingy soon fingers crossed. Yamaha Enduro are one of the best. I think that guy was asking too much for the 2.5 hp four stroke. I just picked up Suzuki 2016 2.5 four stroke for $390.00 but was in Florida. Smallest Yamaha Enduro 2 stroke is 8 hp I think but the should be cheaper in South America and last forever. I had a 15 hp Enduro and a 9 foot rib AB dingy. Was awesome never let me down and could go 30 mph in flat seas. Keep looking something will come up. Good Luck with dingy and fridge. Boat always something to fix or need. Great Channel. Cheers!

    Funny video! My GE refrigerator crapped out, and I went without a fridge for 2 months. It SUCKS not having a refrigerator! And I live 5 minutes from a Walmart, so being out at sea without a fridge is going to Triple suck. You need to get a fridge, maybe just get a small electric one that is more efficient and you can power with solar.

    Hey guys, I’ve looked into refrigerators a bit and it seems like they’re all 24-60 ah per day for most boats depending on insulation/ventilation etc. mostly Isotherm, however there are more efficient refrigerators out there. Sunfrost claims to be the best, but some of the forums I read asserted that they’re full of it.

    It is simple you can buy a fridge or freezer that runs on electric that can fit anywhere. Now lets say your very old tired boat thing has no generator there are fridges and freezers that run off batteries and they can be charged by your engine or solar panels. Then to save even more power and money have the new LED lights for the same watt in power they use a quarter of energy. There are so many things you can do using little amounts of money
