Bro!! This is golden. Literally paused the vehicle and tried this method. I spoke with someone, told them my business name and type of cargo can as well as left my info. Icing on the cake, I got the Shipping Manager’s name and contact info.
Got a Curri delivery $400 for 177 miles yesterday. My state is small so there’s hardly any deliveries ever on there but when there is I usually get it. Eventually I’ll find a consistent $400 a day and Ima grind it out
This video is very helpful. You are showing us a way to grind. This is the way to skip the brokers and everyone in between our money. Real Hussle!! Thank you Sir !!
It's definitely a lot of work to cold call warehouses that aren't actively advertising for cargo delivery drivers. But maybe you beat them to it and catch a good gig. Numbers game. Probably better to start w smaller companies/outlets/online resellers. Lower volume stuff. Big chains and warehouses would prob want a bigger delivery/logistics setup than 1 dude. Kind of like all restaurants have switched from hiring a delivery guy to using multiple platforms like grub hub Uber eats etc...it's less hassle for them, their clients needs are met faster.
I worked at a warehouse that sold Canadian goose / DKNY apparel/ sams club clothes and they worked with sprint vans and cargo vans frequently delivering to macys / sams club and more .
So if you do get a company that calls you and need your service. How do you charge them as far as milage, weight etc... I'm kinda just starting out and would love to see a template on how to invoice clients for making runs for them.
I think it depends on your Market, how often they have loads and the weight.. try between $3-- $8 a mile depending on the load.. They have charts you can find on google as well
DG Man I been watching your vids and seriously love your energy. I live over the Altamont from you out in Modesto. I been looking around here in this area and looks bad. Is the bay area got more work?
Man Right on brotha, I really appreciate you‼️💯 Yeah bro its a lot more movement fasho in the Bay, But Modesto got hella warehouses you probably can reach out to and get some local work lined up..
No one ever told me was wondering if you know how much a driver should get for a double load ? When You drive for an owner is it double the rate example 1500 miles 1550 for the load but two loads.
See some companies do get over on drivers.. If you're picking up a load from the same place and each load is going to 2 separate drop off locations.. it should be separate pay for each load But most companies try to blend it in as one run which it really isn't..
An Authority is an MC# and DOT# with commercial insurance. You do need LLC before you apply.. With that you can run state to state or just deal with brokers and shippers yourself which cuts a lot of middlemen out your pockets
Thanks for the response I'm trying to get into this business I have my CDL an just tired of trucking wanna do my own thing do you make your own schedule doing this
@@westcoast831 yessir, Just like trucking you can accept or deny loads. I'm leased onto a carrier so they usually text me every morning asking am I working or not👌🏾
@@dggothustle I'm heading up to Concord CA to pick up my van. The tranny seized and the dealer are done fixing it. Should be up there next Monday. I hope I run into you on the road someday

Who do you have insurance with, million dollars liability and cargo. Having no luck finding.
The companies I run under require it.. I went through progressive..
can I do this as an owner operator with a criminal background?
I'm sure you good Fam👌🏾
Would a DUI from 4 years ago stop me from starting the cargo biz?
hey brother, i have a question do you really need a high roof for your van? or a for transit that is not a high roof is all good?
Nosir‼️Its not needed at all, But it does give you more opportunities to get loads.. But most def you get money without high roof..💯👌🏾
Bro with a cargo van which weight will you recommend? regarding GVW
Mines is 5200lbs with 4600 payload.. As long as you stay under 10k your good👌🏾
What's the authority? Is it something you apply for ? I'm little confused about that. Do you get after you get your LLC an drive?
