@@artguy87 thanks dawg i appreciate the optimism which imo is also pragmatism a concern i'm facing is that the longer the cloudiness sticks around the less faith/hope i feel for the future (regardless of knowing intellectually that there is actually a brighter future ahead)
Hey I was 20 before I got my license, take life slow you'll get there! I can also tell you're a smart kid, dont let the hopelessness get ya down, you made this video and I watched it hope that's something. Also your 17 you have 70 - 80 odd ish more years ahead of you, take it slow, keep up the uploading and following your passions you'll get there. Success or just joy in general is slow, and sometimes even when you make it to the peak, you wont feel that overwhelming since of accomplishment. You might feel sad, or numb, or all of it. Just be happy about the journey, about the trials and about the person you are. And if you're not, then the person you will be. And this is coming from someone who felt like you just a few years ago (And to be honest even to this day). You have a lot more passion than even what I do sometimes, I can tell. So AGAIN keep it up, and I hopefully see you again in a few years with 1,000s or even 100,000's of followers. Sending blessings
Idk but im watching u as i eat my bread feeling a lil more down tdy than yesterday but watching ppl like u here just talking abt wtv they want keeps me sane, hope u have a wonderful day!
In a similar position as you. Same age, no license yet, and trying to make progress on my goals alongside school. I really relate to the whole wanting to do the work out of actual passion but not doing it because of distractions and exhaustion. It's so hard for me to do what I want to do because school has been really demanding and i lose sleep over it. It's lead to me being too tired to do much in the day and i end up isolating myself from friends because im just too tired to talk most days. Thanks to thanksgiving i have a whole week break from that so that i can get my shit together. i understand that i cant keep living like this because im falling behind and i feel like shit 24/7, ill lose my mind if i continue down that path. So far ive dialed in my diet, fitness, and especially work in order to prepare myself for school and finally feel energetic and not miserable. For me personally, these days have been valuable to get my shit together, finally inching towards my dreams, and not feel like death anymore. If it helps as a reminder, we're pursuing our goals to live our lives to its fullest, not to feel like death whilst having a couple accomplishments under our belt.
thanks for sharing dawg. i hope you can keep it up during the school year and rest of your life, i admire you i have a break too, but it's just been so hard to get any shit together because i am still constantly deathlike with schoolwork and other stressors
@@francisthepoet Completely understand G. Since I chose harder classes for 4 years, high school's been relentless for me, and unfortunately (or fortunately actually) I'm barely figuring out how to overcome my deathlike energy and lifestyle. Since school's been killing my spirit, i truly need something to give me life again (cuz life can be shitty otherwise) so ive been getting back into guitar and made it a priority to do it everyday. I'm purposefully not pushing any limits or trying to learn anything too mind breaking, instead playing songs that sound nice and is easy to play. its fun and its relaxing. in a life with so many stressors you need a hobby like that that is fun and relaxing. (Warning: dont push any limits when doing a hobby, you'll ruin the fun which is the whole reason ur doing it). Also protect your sleep. 8 hours preferably but when i cant i get 6. Lastly (ive been yapping too much but truly ive been trying everything and this is what works) block all distractions. For me, its the phone. I block any distracting apps on it from morning until like 6pm when im done working. That gives me no choice but to do my work and stops me from impulsively clicking on the apps like a mindless monkey. KEY NOTE put in a password for your screentime that you cant remember so you dont mindlessly unblock any apps. Personally, i either get a friend to put in a password they made up or i solve a sodoku, choose a few random numbers, and make that my password, so if i need the password, i need to solve a sudoku. So prioritize a good hobby, sleep, and block distractions dawg. This may not remove all your stressors, but i hope i could help lighten your burden a lil.
@@Jch11pm what you said about not pushing the hobbies really hits me as i'm always trying to push myself with my passions. i think pushing myself is genuinely enjoyable but just not right now, which aligns with what you're saying about taking away the fun of it. yapping is so meta for our generation mann i gotta fix my sleep. and probably just get off of instagram / youtube. it's weird but i'm so oddly passionate about my distractions (videogames, cool music, interesting videos) that i have a hard time just denying myself them. i should probably try to reach some better balance. thanks for the advice!!
also i am so similar with the tiredness thing. i'm just so tired at all the wrong times. like socializing or when i need / want to get work done. thanks for the advice again
Hearing the things you talk about makes me feel like I'm not alone. but anyway I just wanted to say that whatever you are going through, I hope that you can be given the strength you need to push through it. Just remember that you are loved and cared for and I hope that you never forget that. ❤
