Great step by step by how too. Only thing I would add is to wipe down with a tack rag after the towel wipe down. It will remove any lint left from the towel.
Thanks for your detailed video! Unfortunately, I couldn't find Adhesion Promoter, however, I did use Rustoleum Primer/ Paint combo (NOT the ideal situation, but...) and Clear Coat. My new bumper turned out almost perfect! Thanks again!
Please fold the sandpaper correctly I am a pro body man 38 years of experience it should fold into thirds it saves on waste when you do this so far I have not been able to get pro quality paint job on a complete from spray cans unless I go back and color sand and buff the clear coat after you let it harden. I love the old Imron and it can be sprayed from an aerosol I think Imron in now made by Atlaxa paint which used to be PPG Ditzler Centary used to be made by Dupont Anyway you can do anything you put ypur mind to I have painted complete paint jobs in a vacant lot using a portable compressor and a cheap spray gun came out perfect 100 of the paint job is preparation not really but 90 percent is prep.
did you clean off the soap? why not just rinse it down with water after the soap and and then dry it. using a soapy rag and dry it feels kinda ineffective. id do soap cleaning, rinsing, degreaser and last a tacrag(not 100% what its called, but the sticky rag) and then adhesion promoter.
@@mikeydro255 No, I did sand down the part beforehand. I used 2k black primer, multiple coat, sanded down that either, and 2k gloss paint 2-3 coats and one wet(ish) last coat. And it already looks like his final. Finally I put 2k clear coat on it just so its a little biz more shiny and durable.

On the wet wipe, can alcohol be used in place of water?
Yes ! It would work fine
If I have a front bumper should I need 2 of the perfect match spray paint?
Aye man keep making vids! I’m getting a xse soon!
Why not use only black primer? You used also transparent one.

Time between promoter and prime ??? Time between primer and base ??? Time between base and clear ???
Read the can lol
I can dust you with my 1970 Dodge Charger
Mine looks same without sanding and clear coat just out of the can, and I was watching how to make gloss paint..
You just used clear coat and it came out fine?
