when i was a kid 9-13 years of age i use to go to westover afb air shows and i rember walking throught the old A and B versions and seeeing them take off like crazy during the persan gulf war loud and heavy ..i miss hearing the slound lof them ...i never saw the new M versions of them yet but so much quiter now ...i have a 1-150 scale of the M on my shelf ..

Ahhh... I grew up hearing the C-5 engines starting up...from New Base Housing 1975-1989. Love to ALL my Delawariens from Alabama. 💙😇💙

I remember back in 1971 thru 1973 when my dad was stationed on Fort Dix NJ those C5"s would fly over our housing area they were loud as fuck.
