- This is a video showing the repair and cleaning process for a Warwick Thumb BO5 bass from 2007. The tuning pegs were broken and the fretboard was damaged.

I had a Warwick bass ( Corvette ) a few years ago . I had a lot of trouble with the neck , so let it go . But I still think there beautiful basses .
Those replacement tuners are the best, I replaced mine when the Warwick tuners went bad, never a had problem since replacing them with Gotoh.
Schaller M4 90 are not a bad replacement either

awsome video,was wondering how hard would it be to replace the mec pickups on a warwick corvette bass and replace them with emgs pickups??
Thank you. It depends on the shape of your pickups and if you want to replace the circuitry as well. Let’s say you have a set of jazz bass pickup and want to keep the original circuit. In this case it is easy. If you have two humbuckers on your Corvette and if you wants to change to an EMG circuit, it is very difficult because EMG doesn’t have the same shape and you must figure out how to fit the EMG circuit (number of potentiometers and size of the board vs cavity space).
i really want some powerful pickups like my emg,s on my fender that has dual batteries with killer tone

I recently acquired a Thumb NT and it is a beautiful instrument, but i am still in the learning process of setting a bass up I've been playing for 20+ years and have never learned how..
Do you have any tips or pointers on adjusting the 3d bridge and string height? All the different adjustments confuse the hell out of me.,
I'd take it to a shop but the closet place is over 1.5 hours

Very sad when owners dont give a damn about their instruments no wonder why their instrument breaks. And then they complain about something not working. I wax my warwick maybe too often. But atleast everh 4 months.
