    Amazing restoration! Glad you put the MEC electronics in there. This is probably my favorite overall bass and it's just about perfect from the factory.

    Love this restoration. Very nice. I also do this work in my spare time. I started out teaching myself how to do it on my own instruments which then turned into a full-time job for several years. I had a Stage I 5-string for many years and now have a 4-string that I love. In my humble opinion, these are some of the most beautiful and comfortable basses ever made.

    Why is there so much string noise? Like banging against the pickups, or is it the way you play ?

      It’s the way I play. I love plucking hard.
