Anne, that was such a kind comment. Bless you. Sooo flattered you liked this one. Took some time getting there but managed it in the end....lol. Big hugs from me and have a great week. C xx
I'm soooo flattered you liked the finished assignment this week. Thank you for watching and leaving me that fabulous comment. I've a 'bit of a thing' for shabby doors so I loved this old chapel door when I spotted it. I'd just love to see what's inside....lol. Big hugs C xx
Another lovely collage, Carol. The little rabbit is a cutie, but it is a shame the mouse/mice didn't work. However in the end you got it sorted and it came together beautifully. Wishing you a wonderful and crafty week! Look after yourself and see you again soon. Hugs!
Awww thanks. Those mice were cute and I sooo wanted to use them but just a bit too big. Felt a struggle to find the right bits and bobs for my prompts this week but managed to get there in the end. Glad you liked the end result. TFW and have a great week too. Big hugs C xx
Thanks you so much for that lovely comment. It's great to have a little feedback, especially when I'm dithering on what prompt pieces to use. I really liked that rabbit image and thought he fitted in well with the door etc but wasn't sure if because of the quality of the image it was a little too 'flat' looking. Worked in the end though....phew. 😁 TFW and hugs from me. C xx
Thanks so much for popping by, Carol. Bless you. I get quite a few comments mentioning that, so that's why I do it. I really just say what I like or don't. I'm certainly no expert and just follow my gut with these challenges of Margarete's but they definitely fun to do. TFW and have a great week. Hugs C xx
OH - I really LOVE how this turned out. I have a 'thing' for old doors, and that rabbit is just fabulous - glad you kept him! That beautiful handwriting - just perfect. You said it was a bit of a struggle, but it is really fabulous in the end!
Ha ha, I REALLY think we are twins, Jennifer! I'm the same with old doors and keep promising to do a journal using old, distressed and shabby door images. Maggie thinks it's a bizarre theme for a journal which has put me off doing it.... but I just think it would be fun as there are just soooo many gorgeous, paint-flaking and softly grungy doors out there....😂 Guess what most of my Mediterranean holiday snaps are of......lol. Big hugs C xx
Awww bless you for watching again and for leaving me a comment. Pleased you thought that bottom corner works. It's always good to have another voice on what might and might not be working. Have a wonderful week and big hugs from me, as always. C xx
One of my favorite pages that you have created. I ordered the book. Actually found one here in the U.S. Always enjoy watching your thought process. Happy creating!
OMG, I just love this page for so many reasons - a green door, adorable bunny, stunning text and I just adore your wine label, lol. Your thumbnail pic had me stumped at the beginning but all became clear in the end. Thank you so much for sharing this ... and I was lucky enough to find a copy of that cute little book online, what a fabulous way to start my week.
Ha ha, thrilled you've had a great start to your week... always a bonus. It was a struggle to get this one to come together but I managed to get there in the end. That door was too lovely not to use ( You know me and shabby, paint-flaking doors although didn't see ANY in Brisbane I might add...😂). Big hugs Sis, C xx
Catherine, that is so kind of you to say, thank you. Of course you can ask. I'm always happy to share but I tend to squirrel away pictures and other bits and bobs that I think might come up in the weekly prompts that Margarete Miller sets for these challenges. I'm now into my third year so I have quite a stack of possible prompt pieces saved, 'just in case' Unfortunately, I have no idea at all where that wee image came from..... I'm so sorry. No help at all ! You could try a Google search ( I use it all the time) and search for 'seated rabbit drinking tea illustration' and see if something comes up that is similar and useable for you. TFW and hugs from me. C xx
Absolutely love it Carol . Your attention to detail makes this another piece of art.
Anne, that was such a kind comment. Bless you. Sooo flattered you liked this one. Took some time getting there but managed it in the end....lol. Big hugs from me and have a great week. C xx

I am absolutely enamored with the whole collage (SO beautiful!) but particularly with the seated bunny! Would you share where he can be found?
