I have a Retro Classic with a Schmidt rollerball. A pleasure to use. I also carry it along with a FP. The twist mechanism feels solid. I feel I got a lot for my money. A few more colors can be had with gel refills. We need more rollerball colors.

Ah! Retro 51. I was selling those cap-less rollerballs back when Brian and Drew were first learning how to walk! Okay, maybe not that long ago. But how long has it been? Easily 20 years. Even back then, literally everyone who bought one at the store I worked at; LOVED them! Retro 51, and ACME. Not one complaint the entire time I worked there. Can't say that about certain other pen brands. Especially a certain one from Germany. And I don't mean Pelikan or LAMY. Personally, I have a Retro 51 fountain pen, along with two cap-less rollerballs. One depicting the Jack of Spades, and one with the American Revolutionary war flag on it. I love them too!

Big YES to Retro 51 pens. So unique and every day carry pens. Some of the styles profits go to charity causes and that's always a good thing.

I'm a big fan of all the Nock products, and my Retro 51 pen was my first, in my opinion at the time, price, pen. That was before I was even into fountain pens. I have three retros now.
I've bought a bunch of Retro 51s for gifts. I gave the skeleton to my sister-in-law when she became a doctor. I've actually been thinking about getting one to carry with my fountain pens but haven't quite found the right one. I'm intrigued by the one that was all the way to the left, btw. They do also have fountain pens.
Notebook covers look GREAT! Yes please do carry them.

Glad to see the Retros. I have one in brushed steel and it has a fantastic look, build and feel. For me its main appeal is the fact I can use ballpoint or roller ball refills on the same pen.
The seed cases seem a bit pricey but I would love to save up for one!! As a paralegal Student this seems a must!

I have a Retro Absinthe from the Speak Easy collection. I really like it. I usually carry two fountain pens and the Retro in my purse so I am ready for anything. Cheers!
The Retro pens are awesome. Would really love to see you guys carry something like this. The Seed cases are very neat but a bit price for a canvas type notebook carrier. Keep up the great work you guys. You are the best!

i LOVE the retro 51 rollerballs. I have one in my daily carry with all my fountain pens. I use them for receipts sometimes and notes at work when im handed crappy paper. I LOVE the designs and the presentation. The limited edition ones are always really cool. Hope yall end up carrying them

You should carry Retro 51; I have two of them and enjoy writing with their rollerball pens very much. When a fountain pen isn't convenient, these are the next best thing.
I'm a big fan of carrying a ballpoint in addition to my fountain pens. As you said, I can't always bust out my fountain pen. I have to sign things in a hurry a lot, so it's so much easier not to have to deal with uncapping and posting sometimes.
I love those cases, but not the price. If I'm going to pay that much, I'd rather it be on a FP. :)

I think if you are going to sell a roller ball pen, Retro 51 is the way to go. But also consider selling the fountain pens!!! They aren't bad.
SO many great things that I need! That Traveler’s Co pen-wearable! What’s not to love about that! The Seed notebook cases-great concept, if only they had a B6. And the Retro 51-Yes, please! The only product I would be interested in are the seed covers in both sizes in purple. 😍. If you guys don’t decide to carry them i will hunt them down elsewhere. It’s brilliant and Nock quality is amazing.
Retro's are fun pens and you have a more personal connection to them unlike a lot of non fountain pens.I always get compliments on mine when using one in public.I also think they partner well with fountain pens because of their uniqueness.
I have a Retro 51 Tornado Lincoln rollerball and pencil set that I keep in my suit. I love them and have been looking to at the fountain pen version to my collection.
I love the retro 51 pens. I use it to write in the labels for the sample inks I give to friends. I also enjoy their fountain pens. You could get a matching fountain pen/rollerball at an easier to swallow price point. I’d love to see you guys do a GPC exclusive!
I do love those notebook cases! I’m not thrilled about the price, but it beats having my bullet journal being destroyed.
So exciting!!! I want that color index pretty bad. And the nock seed looks so amazing I could easily see myself using one. retro 51 is the one that I've been on the fence about.. But willing to give it a shot :) all 3 have my vote ☑️

At first I thought (and hoped!) those were more fountain pen cases! I have one and I am interested in more but trust your site and reviewers more than Amazon or other places less focused on fountain pens. Yay, the Retro 51 pens! Those are what got my husband and I into fountain pens, actually. He had gotten me one for Christmas and when I tried it, I realized I wanted a finer line and after that first Pilot Metropolitan, we are now the crazy pen people in our friend group!
Funny you should mention it, I was at the Atlanta Pen Show and got one of the purple A5 seed cases. Love it! BTW-the pen case I didn’t get, I will be buying from you. I also have 5 Retro’s, and 3 are numbered limited editions. They are unique, very well made and write great.
Retro 51 makes fountain pens in addition to roller balls.
I think the tornados are really cool. I have the "Betsy" Revolutionary War era flag model. I was a history major and really enjoy it. The skeleton is sweet, and as an elementary school teacher in training, I might have to pick up the model with the cursive writing.
if the skeleton was a fountain pen I'd be all over it. But the rollerball is convenient. (also, sorry Drew, I had a rubbish Wednesday and ended up in hospital. I'm hoping I'm an outlier though!)
That travelers pen looks great. Those retro 51s are one of the only ballpoints I will use.

I think carrying Retro 51 opens your business to new customers and can act as a gateway to those who search for them, but then see all the other things you offer.
I am quite interested in the Travelers pocket pen, the rest of the products I dont think would really cater to me personally.
It looks to me like a re-skinned Ohto Poche or Ohto Tasche. They're reliable pens, but quite slim. Great fit for the Travelers notebooks though.
same here. I love tiny pocket pens but the brass just makes it extra interesting.

Retro Pens look sweet. Would love to see a video on them and how they write, inserts etc. I have so many questions!!! Wish the nock cases were more budget minded but I think more cases is better. Maybe something cheaper as a case in the future?
I’d love to buy 3-5 retros lol. They are gorgeous and I want to use them to get presents to people who are interested buy my Pen collection but are afraid of fountain pens

Brian, Drew is it $70 for the four cases or for a big and small case together if it for just for one i think the price is a bit steep. But the Retros i am totally diggin and the whole lot need to be collected . Thanks for sharing and a very entertaining show.
It is just for one of the bigger A5 cases, so definitely on the premium side. Not for everyone at that price, but the quality is certainly there. - Colin

If the Nock Seed A5 case had existed a year ir two ago I'd have jumped on it. I am currently debating switching to a Traveler's Notebook instead of the A5 I have been using.

I have one Retro. Hey Brian it is blue! I am liking the vintage 40's look US Army green one wit the star on the barrel. Definitely would like it if you carried refill cartridges for these too.
Probably be interested in the Retro 51 pens since the FDA doesn't allow me to use a pen that might blur.
Retro 51: I try to buy and use only fountain pens; however, since there are times one needs a rollerball or ballpoint, I have picked up a few. Retro 51 IS very appealing. I did get a pen and pencil set, and I have bought several for gifts because the design was particularly appropriate for the giftee. I have bought each of the Pen Addict Special Editions and the Anderson Chicago Edition, mainly because I visited Chicago last fall.
I can't tell if there might be future designs that cause me to spend part of my limited pen budget on Retro 51, but there is a good chance. And I am certain if there is a Goulet Special Edition, I along with most of your regular customers, will want it.
With my last purchase I got a different refill to try, and I suggest that if you carry Retro 51, you emphasis the variety of refills available. I like using the fine point much better than the medium that comes with them. If people take the time to find which refill works best for them, I believe they will want a greater selection of Retro 51's.

Re: Nock A5 case -I agree with others here, it looks like an awesome product and very useful, but $70 is a fairly hefty chunk of change...
Wow! I should have watched this at the beginning of the day, my day would have been better. I’m sure of that. Yes on the Seed cases, yes on the Retros. Those are fantastic pens. I like the Travlers Pen but would not get it unless I had all the other pens on my wish list. Have you tried the double walled glass tea bottles? They would probably due for coffee as well as tea, if you are trying to stay away from metals. Glad you lads had a smashing time at the Atlanta Pen Show and returned home safely. Looking forward to seeing your mega Gigabytes of video!
Really like the retro51 pens. Looking at their website, they got some nice fountains and the rollerballs look like a lot of fun. I want the Skeleton, and the Royale series. Hope they come out with more fun designs.The nook notebook cover needs more pen holders. I carry a lot of pens and markers with my journal/sketchbook. I'm loving the traveler's pen, Its beautiful. Its the perfect size for the passport midori I have for work.

I love my Vintage Metalsmith Roosevelt. To quite the old O'Douls commercial, "it's what fountain pen users use when they're not using fountain pens."

I have looked at the Retro 51 fountain pens but always put my money towards a different pen. But they have caught my eye time and again.

I have a Retro 51 Jack of Spades. Its the only rollerball I use. Fantastic pen. I also have 2 of their fountain pens. One is a beautiful turquoise and the other has a copper penny finish. They come with a #6 Schmidt nib and write as well as any pen I own. You should really look into them.

I have to admit that Drew is right, sometimes a fountain pen just does not cut the mustard (or is it paper?.... whatever). Yall asked for feedback, and after looking at their site and what they have, yeah, I will probably get one of these. Wish their tribute line had something Marine Corps in it though.
At first glance, I would say I lean towards the Lincoln, Roosevelt and bamboo (and anything Marine Corps.... which they don't have at this time), but like Drew said, they are easily personalized with the variety they have. My vote is to go for it
Yeah, I'm not sure how often they add new things to the line. I'd guess pretty regularly so it's only a matter of time before something hits closely for you. - Colin
I have the skeleton retro pen, as you said signing a charge slip at a restaurant with a fountain pen, results in a feathered mess of a signature. So i carry one pen, i am a nurse practitioner so the skeleton fits me. Would love to see other Retro 51 pens.
I like the col-o-dex. I am collecting too many inks and this would be a great tool. I pack my bullet journal and pen case everywhere I go and it holds up fine without a case. The seed cases are pretty but too expensive. I like the Traveler's Brass pen. Looking at the comments the Retro 51 seem popular but they are not for me. If I need to sign a receipt the seller should probably have a pen handy:)
The TWISBI Precision looks like it's a modern version of the rOtring 600 or Newton. Are they made by rOtring for TWISBI? rOtring makes such quality pens.
Didn't get the coloring but will get colodex, the retro might end up in my shopping cart at some point, digging the travel pen too

It's April 18 and it's snowing. I'm not sure if Drew's guarantee is working, especially if I have to go home and shovel.
As far as the products, I have a lot of Nock stuff, but I really don't see the need for an A5 notebook cover especially at the price. I have a couple of Retros. I might look at buying one more of the base models for a daily-use-when-I-can't-use-a-Fountain Pen, but I can't see myself buying more than one or two more of them. (Just noticed that DUWICUFP doesn't have the same ring as EDC)

I haven’t had a fantastic Wednesday because I haven’t had power since Sunday morning. Can Drew will the linemen to fix the power in my neighborhood since his powers are so fantastic?? I’ll buy more pen supplies instead of replacing my groceries if it works!

The Twisbi looks similar to the classic model but the pocket clip is very cheap looking and sure to get lost or slide up and down scratching the pen.
Might look cheap to some, but it felt very structurally sound. Could change with heavy workload though! - Colin

Can you do a tutorial on how to clean pens like the Pilot Custom 823? Please.
Brian talks about cleaning a Vac-Mini here (ruclips.net/video/gcTZGjoRYzo/видео.html ) which is similar. I definitely wouldn't recommend taking the 823 apart, so it's just a pretty manual task of pumping water into the barrel and back out until it runs clear. - Colin
What size nib is on the new twsbi? Is it their custom #5.5 like on the 580 or a #6?

In the 90's Retro 51 made some very nice fountain pens. I hope they do that again. My "Ghost Ranger" has been one of my favorite pens:

I used to have a pen that was connected to a chain. Actually, only the cap was connected to the chain; but, the pen was held there by magnet. It was gold-colored, so would not be my personal color choice; but, it was free with the purchase of a wallet/planner type thing that my mom had purchased. The pen was a ball point pen filled with blue ink. I remember using it a lot until the ink ran out. The pen itself was not refillable. If it had been, maybe I would still have it.
