I dont think Sony is really failing with this one. Sony's single player games were carrying the console for a minute. The live service games were definitely a bad idea but that could be because of the success of Helldivers. They got a taste of a live service exclusive so the threw 50 more in there or it could have been planned and maybe Helldivers was a test. Use a new IP in cas eit fails not to taint your own IP. They need to stick to their current IP, maybe bring some old ones back and slowly drip in some new ones. I don't think they are failing or losing their minds, they just need to put their heads on straight, look at their strengths and hit it
I think they lost their minds and are finally trying too get back on track. The thing is I don't think there's enough time this generation to do it. I feel the PS5 will be its weakest. They have been releasing old IPS, they still have at least 2 more live service games, now they need to go way back into their catalog and also release new IP.

They used 2 studios who have done great ports and games to do GAAS games. Sony has lost their way.
