- Flat Twist Crown! Perfect way to give your hair a break, getting your hair out of your face during those hot Summer days, or just a quick updo!
After many failed attempts I finally achieved this Flat Twist Crown Style. I was having a hard time getting all my hair under the two twists but with a couple more practice attempts I got it! So I wanted to film it and share it with you all!

I can't wait to try this! I'm just now starting my natural hair journey and have been really fighting with myself to not go back and straighten my hair because I have literally only have been able to put it in a bun for weeks lol. I need to buy different hair products as well and that will help but I have just learned my hair type. Also Ashly what brush are you using? Thank you!

I struggle not with flat twisting but with flat twisting my hair it's soooo thick. it's so hard for me to do two twist.
It was definitely a struggle! I think i had about 3-4 failed attempts. where id be mid way through the twist and just give up lol
Try doing it on damp/ wet hair with conditioner with lots of slip. helps if you're hair is properly detangled too
How long do you keep this style in? I've tried doing crowns like this and always end up frizzy and take it out the next day :/
+Yesenia Barrios I can get about 5 days to a week out of it! Make sure you protect your hair at night when going to bed with a bonnet, silk scarf, or silk pillow case it will help prevent frizz!
