I very much suspect the Valley in the song is High Valleyfield: Fifers will happily fight the next village along, if there is nothing else to do, even if that is only 3 stops (or 6 lamp posts) on the bus home. * (* if you ever visit Dunfermline and have the misfortune to travel through it on the bus, you will soon realise in the Democratic Peoples Republic of Fife, the council will put up bus stops literally 2 lamp posts apart in many street. Even old coal miners, exhausted with feigning white knuckle and the black lung for that bigger pension, could still throw a tennis ball from one stop to another. I doubt the driver gets out of First gear, if the bus isn't electric already, for most of his route.)
love the song love the movie love the history; pretty sharp editing too, "hurrah".
Thank you, it was fun to put it together.
Adam Ant used the 11th hussars dolman jacket in his Kings of the Wild Frontier period.
That's very interesting.
And Mr. Goddard claims it was the exact same tunic as worn by David Hemmings in the movie.
Fantastic..what a band....we saw them at Huddersfield Poly the same week as this smashed into the charts....heady days.
Nicely done! Great track and a cracking film (no cgi!). The whistling wind at the end. Top work! I thoroughly enjoyed that.
Thank you for your comment, it's nice to know you appreciated it.
