Into The Valley - The Skids

On the 25th October 1854 an infamous chapter in British military history took place, during the Battle of Balaclava in the Crimean War.
The Light Brigade were ordered to mount a frontal assault against a Russian artillery battery, the almost suicidal charge was the result of a miscommunication and it ended with very high British casualties.
