  • After ferrying a 1940 Aeronca 65TC to Illinois, I jump in a 2019 Vision Jet with Justin to Florida. I had never flown in a Cirrus aircraft before, so this was quite the treat! Justin manages a few Vision jets. You can find his channel and Instagram page ‪@jetpropjustin1‬ !

      99 percent of light sport aircraft coke with parachutes. Nothing new

    • @overhead18
      @overhead18 Месяц назад +4

      The parachute is only part of the reason for the hate. The reputation, deserved or not, has more to do with the pilots and people that own them. Long straight in finals while others are in the pattern, not able to fly without the electronics, rich unskilled pilots that had money to buy the plane...blah blah blah blah. Now I don't really buy any of this, think the planes and most of the pilots are fine...but darn if the straight in while people are in the pattern thing doesn't happen, not sure why ;)

    • @JBalloonist
      @JBalloonist Месяц назад +4

      They het hate because of the type of pilot it generally attracts; people more interested in using flying to go places vs just a love of flying. Not saying that’s right or wrong, just the reality.

    Cirrus jet is the best single engine jet aircraft around today, cirrus haters are just jealous because they can't keep up to date with new cirrus systems and safety features

    • @paulwright7239
      @paulwright7239 Месяц назад +1

      Or they might not have $600 an hour to throw at the engine reserve. This thing is the cyber truck of the sky. The performance and cost don't justify upgrading from the piston Cirrus, but some people just need to make a statement about themselves...

    I don't think you need an instrument rating as this can be flown VFR and yes i know it will use more fuel at lower altitudes and not be as fast as you would go at the flight levels.

      Those light are actually not blinking. They are permanently on and steady and not distracting. What you are seeing is the frame rate of the camera vs the LED lights. You can see it on the AC panels lights as well but not as noticeable.

    That tail is dangerous. I wouldn't buy that thing, not even crazy! That tail has been proven to not withstand very well the aerodynamic forces. With IMC or worse is a catastrophic structural failure waiting to happen.
