Ha, hilarious you stopped in Carey. We stopped there randomly in 2016 to get lunch on a summer vacation road trip. It's now tradition to stop there every year and let the kids play on the playground for an hour. Random small town with an interesting pop culture connection!!
I wish they would have walked down to the library and checked it out. There probably would have been more people around there. Also, if they like spooky stuff, many people think it's haunted.
I was smiling too. It made me think of a lot of different memories from growing up there. I used to go across the street and talk to your grandpa Bill as a kid. I remember one time I went over and asked him why he was always tapping a quarter with a spoon. He handed me a ring and said, eventually it will turn into this.
I think the reason Carey Ohio is a good horror background is the innocence. Any movie with simplicity and innocence in the beginning makes it scarier due to the shock
So true, and the corn fields and railroad tracks, the mix of farms and industrial, the quiet midwest feel, it's all lovely but also can be eery in the right setting!
Really like the 📷📸📷 pictures and the some are New things are out today and you are a great and beautiful person to me this is Jenna Dabao love 💕😘💕 the videos so much had some road trip safe God bless 🙏🙏🙏 and love 💕💕💕 the best video ❣️ and also sam so much try to say Hi to him today he is a great guy looking this is Jenna Dabao had fun
Have literally never heard of Jungle Jim’s until this moment, and JUST LIKE THAT it is at the TOP of my roadside attractions bucket list! I’m a true blue sucker for Rainforest-Cafe-caliber enchantment. 🤩 The facades and displays are next level for a grocery store. The monorail was so cool, too! Wish you had been able to take a leisurely ride, but as you said - next time! 😁 I also had no idea that Carey was a real place. Leave it to Sam and Jackie to unearth the history behind the legend!
The supermarket is huge!!!!! I love that have a variety of international foods. There’s just so much to see. I could spend a whole day just walking around.
Jungle Jim’s is INSANE! The over the top theming and massive selection seriously makes it a must see. The Carey stop was cool to see too. I still wonder how much people who live there actually care about the HHN connection lol
I love Jungle Jim's! The best part is the prices are quite reasonable. This could actually be the grocery store you shop at. The fresh bakery and live fish are my favorites
Native Ohio citizen here. Never heard of this place. Gonna have to check it out. Thanks Jackie!! I am so loving this road trip vlog. Have fun at Cedar point. Lots of coasters. Not as themed as Kings island, or as beautiful, but a great park if you love roller coasters. Make sure to check out the beach while you are there. It's beautiful and there is always a nice breeze there. Gosh, I am just traveling with you. Can't wait to see where we go next. Xoxo
Thanks for “taking us along”. I grew up in Michigan and i really do miss those beautiful summer days especially driving through the countryside and charming towns. Very interesting about Carey and the universal connection. Drive safe Sam and Jackie!!
Greetings from Ohio. We visit that Jungle Jim’s every few months. It’s always fun. What other grocery stores can you get a beer and drink while you shop haha. There are 2 locations, that is the bigger and better one of the 2. We usually go for the food from the other countries. It’s like a taste of Epcot when we can’t be in wdw. Hope you had a good time. There is a lot more cool stuff to see here in Ohio than people think. Lots of amusement and lots of history in Ohio. Just a little north of that jungle Jims is Dayton and there is a lot of historical stuff including an actual Wright bros plane. Just south of there is Cincinnati, which has lots of cool stuff. Hope you visit Ohio again.
Love this store. My SIL lives 5 minutes away. Always need to stop there before heading back home after picking up many things to take back with me. Enjoy being in Ohio, guys!
Have lived in Ohio my whole life and just made it down to Jungle Jim's this year for the first time. A very fun place to shop. Also, since you enjoy Halloween stuff, I'd recommend coming back up in October and head to downtown Fairborn, Ohio. There is a store called Foy's. It sells a lot of Halloween stuff and pretty much takes over the city during the month of October.
Love the Animatronic Animals around the Jungle Jim's Grocery store. It is huge and unless one knows what they are getting looks like it is a good place to get lost in thought in. Looks like you saw some pretty country side.
This place is great! I live about a half hour from Jungle Jim's and we visit frequently. It's a fun place to just go and walk around when you're looking for something to do. It's definitely very unique!
When I was a little girl, my family would drive to the farm stand, that eventually became the Jungle Jim’s you saw, to get fresh produce. It’s really amazing how much it’s grown over the course of 40+ years! I’m glad you enjoyed yourself!
Glad you guys went to Jungle Jims, I almost always get the Jaffa cakes, UK Mars bar and the occasional Irn Bru. The international sections you guys were passing in the back and the Story of Jungle Jim actually are supposed to be recessed cubbies that go back about 8-10 feet with shelves of food on either side. The "Story..." is a small theater. They've been doing reconstruction of the last 4-5 years so I'm sure they are just redoing it. There's a great soda selection there too.
OHHHH no wonder it was closed off!! I hope they do finish re-doing it and reopen bc I was very curious about it. I also noticed the craft soda collection, it was so impressive!!
Before covid you could go into the little stores. They had what ever countries food items inside. Love Jungle Jims!! Ohio is amazing thanks for sharing
The antique cars were the original ones at Kings Island from when the park opened in 1972. They were removed when that land became used for Stunt Job roller coaster. There are also Bumper Cars from Coney Island in Cincinnati also in the store. Jungle Jim is a fan of Kings Island. The monorail trains outside were purchased for $1.00 from Kings Island. The have 6 I think. 5 at that location and 1 at Eastgate.
I live in Ohio and saw that you picked up Vernor's! It's the best ❤️ You can only get it in certain states since it was originally manufactured in Michigan. There's a whole story 😁 Enjoy your travels!
So THAT’s where Sam got his goodies! You mentioned this video was coming. Jungle Jim’s looks like it was a trip! We’ll have to stop there on our next trip to Ohio. Next time you get up that way, you have to try Fazzoli’s Italian Restaurant. It looks like a fast food place, but it’s not and it’s amazing! Cheers!
I'm so happy you guys made it to Jungle Jims! It is pretty awesome. The best part of the video is when Sam found the food from Great Britain. His reaction made me smile 😊
WOW!! This is really a one stop shop. I am amazed. It is huge and has everything you would want. I am thankful to be able to watch your videos because I will probably never be able to go to these places. Loved the country roads. Glad Sam got his goodies. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work. By the way, I never knew Sam had a channel. Thanks for mentioning it. I'll check it out.
I love these fun side trips from the main "episodes" at the parks. It's so fun hanging out with you guys and seeing all kinds of new things. Such a good youtube channel!
I live only five minutes from that Jungle Jim’s location, and you inspired me to go get some Monster Munch and try it for the first time. I’m a Monster Munch fan now!
Glad you went to the original. My family and I make the 2.5 hr drive 4-5 times a year to visit and shop. I’ve been going for 10+ years and still find something new to see!
What a great video! We lived near Jungle Jim's for years and it was always part of our best of Cincinnati tour when people came to visit! You never know what interesting things people would find to buy. My mom always got chicken feet! 😱
Oh my gosh, Jungle Jim’s! We love this place! 🤗 I am loving your Ohio vlogs. They make my heart so happy. Thank you, Jackie, for showing all these fun places in my home state. ♥️
This is awesome! I love your travel content because you're so descriptive and read out some of the text you see on signs etc. Great for anyone with a reading disability or with low or no vision like me. Thank you.
I had never heard of Jungle Jim’s before, it looks awesome! Albanese gummies are the best! If one of your road trips ever take you to Chicago, you should stop at the Albanese factory store in Merrillville Indiana.
I got to visit Jungle Jim's during my trip to Ohio a few years ago. It's definitely quite the experience! SO JEALOUS you and Sam got to visit Carey! That's on my bucket list for sure - just to say I did.
It’s one of those things, just to be there and breath it in haha! You of all people I know GET IT!!! I wish we had a Jungle Jim’s in florida, not even for all the whacky stuff but the amazing food selection! I wanted to buy so much but I knew it wouldn’t last the drive home.
Vernor’s Ginger Ale is the BEST!! I hope you liked it too! You should go to Albanese since you’re traveling in the Midwest. You could also check out Fair Oaks Farm on the way back south….it’s near Albanese.
As someone from Ohio who lives an hour from Sandusky now and grew up in a town near Carey this is bizarre lol it also explains why I saw someone at Universal wearing a Carey, Ohio shirt which at the time baffled me. Have a great time at Cedar Point! Been 5 times this summer, rides been having trouble this year, hope you got to ride a lot
Love the video- thank you for showcasing all the great things we have in OH! I have been following you for the last 2 years or so and it’s neat to see you visit my stomping grounds! We travel to Disney a few times a year if Sam needs more GB treats from Jungle Jim’s! 😊
Cool, Jungle Jim’s has a cooking school (and about everything else haha). I will have to check out Sam’s Carey video now. Thanks for taking us to these neat stops on your travels to Cedar Point! ❤️
Now this is my kind of attraction, lol. I dont do coasters or Halloween scary stuff, but Jungle Jim's looks epic and I could spend hours and a fortune there!
Jungle Jim's is awesome. The national air force museum is in Dayton Ohio. Albanese candy factory is in the Midwest, Merriville, IN just off I-65. have fun at Cedar Point.
Jackie & Sam, So glad you took the opportunity to see Jungle Jims. You both love Halloween and the fun that goes with it, if you return to Kings Island this October, be certain to visit The Dent Schoolhouse where you enthusiastically will "Take A Lesson In Fear"!
So glad you went here! I used to live .25 miles away and this was my local/weekly grocery store! Trying to explain to people that my grocery store had more I've fish then most aquariums was fun! 😆
👍 I see you got some Vernors (a Detroit original). In Michigan, nothing else is ginger ale, only Vernors. It's the go to drink when you're not feeling well and is absolutely amazing over vanilla ice cream (Boston cooler). So what did you think of it❓ I'm planning a trip to Jungle Jim's and King's Island next summer and will be covering Cedar Point and a drive thru wildlife safari in two weeks. Nice video!
Hi, Jungle Jim's entrance took my breath away for a second. I could sit out there and look around and listen to the water for an hour. The stores are awesome selections. Really cool. Halloween info and stuff was nifty to. Hope y'all continue safely having great trip. Be Safe Take Care 🧡
My used to be a truck driver and he got a lot of loads out of Middletown, OH he would stop in Jungle Jim’s he used to tell us about it all the time, now I can see he was right on how it was the most insane grocery store ever!
Live in Cleveland Ohio and every time we go to Cincinnati Jungle Jim's is a must so glad u are getting to enjoy some of our awesome attractions in our great state hopefully u can come to Cleveland soon. Only 40 minutes from Cedar point.
Welcome to Ohio, we love jungle Jim’s, such a fun experience. If you go west of cedar point you should check out Sauders village in archbold. It’s a small historic village and the barn restaurant and dough box bakery are delicious.
Jungle Jim’s can be overwhelming but so fun to explore! I live near there and my husband delivers vitamins there all the time. We come to Orlando all the time (will be there Thanksgiving week this year) if you want us to stock up on any snacks for Sam on the way down let me know 😁 He just seemed so happy!!! 👏👏
Reminds me of the fly drive holiday we had as a family nearly 30 years ago. Jungle Larry’s was a excellent Zoo in Naples which you got to ride the animals. I hope to repeat it with my kids 1 day.
I live about 25 minutes from Jungle Jims and I have never seen the monorail in action since I rode it as a teenager at Kings Island ( I was 10 when KI opened so do the math). The seats in front of JJ were from the original Reds Stadium. My favorite candy is Aero I get them from under the Robin Hood tree.
Jackie, I've watched your vids off and on after first seeing you on one of Adam the Woo's vids 3 or so years ago. I live in the Dayton area and glad you've made it to Kings Island, Jungle Jims, and Cedar Point. I've been listening to songs on youtube of your old band (collage of 3 people watching a hot air ballooner with mountains and a sunset behind). It sounds like Death Cab for Cutie and the New Pornographers were pretty big influences for your sound.
I got excited when you shouted out Albanese. The factory is in northern Indiana a hop skip and a jump away from my little brothers house. Stop by if you ever do a Chicago trip or something! I pick some up for my nephews every visit to be the cool uncle.
I road that monorail quite a few times as a child. I remember when Kings Island had live animals. Jungle Jims is always fun, whenever I'm back in Ohio I like o stop by. Great Video.
I recommend, since you’re in Ohio, going to the Christmas Story house! Its so fun for fans of the movie :) Also I’m glad you visited Jungle Jim’s. I’ve been wanting to go for a while and your video has made me more determined to try and get there!!
Ha, hilarious you stopped in Carey. We stopped there randomly in 2016 to get lunch on a summer vacation road trip. It's now tradition to stop there every year and let the kids play on the playground for an hour. Random small town with an interesting pop culture connection!!
I grew up in Carey - so I was smiling through the whole second half of this video. Thanks for showcasing the town in such a positive way.
That Jungle Jim’s Theme Park of Grocery Stores is awesome. Lot cooler then Walmart and Kroger.
Just amazing how you are able to share all this stuff with us in these beautifully edited videos and still enjoy all the sights yourself. 👍
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love Jungle Jim's! The best part is the prices are quite reasonable. This could actually be the grocery store you shop at. The fresh bakery and live fish are my favorites
I was really pleased with the prices! Sometimes international foods are super overpriced at local markets.
Native Ohio citizen here. Never heard of this place. Gonna have to check it out. Thanks Jackie!! I am so loving this road trip vlog. Have fun at Cedar point. Lots of coasters. Those seats out in front used to be at Riverfront Stadium in Cincinnati, where the Reds and Bengals played from 1970-2002.
Ah I was hoping someone would tell me where they are from!
Love this store. My SIL lives 5 minutes away. Always need to stop there before heading back home after picking up many things to take back with me. Enjoy being in Ohio, guys!

It's a wild adventure, to be sure - come on out and see us!
Before covid you could go into the little stores. They had what ever countries food items inside. Love Jungle Jims!! Ohio is amazing thanks for sharing
Man I hope they bring that back!
so much fun hangin with you guys-- next stop AMERICAS ROLLER COAST. enjoy guys. I sure am.
👏🏼
Great shot of both of you on the Carey sign. I think viewing unseen footage with a soundtrack as a finale is the icing on the cake.
Love doing that!! The outro montages have become a favorite place to share those little bits 💜 thank you, Michael!

Super Enthuse is the perfect name for you. Y’all had me laughing during the bathroom spot. Love these videos.
That grocery store looks like so much fun!!! Thanks for sharing with us! ❤️
I'm so happy you guys made it to Jungle Jims! It is pretty awesome. The best part of the video is when Sam found the food from Great Britain. His reaction made me smile 😊
This is my hometown. I literally shop at the Dixie Hwy Jungle Jim's weekly. Glad you enjoyed yourselves!

That was such a fun video! Would love to make a road trip up there just for Jungle Jim's! Thanks for sharing all the roadside attractions like that.
I live only five minutes from that Jungle Jim’s location, and you inspired me to go get some Monster Munch and try it for the first time. I’m a Monster Munch fan now!
Haha that makes me so happy! It’s soooo good, I was hesitant to try it at first bc it said spicy but then I was like oh doggone this is good!
Jungle Jim's is such a cool place! I'm dreaming of the day I get to go back
I've gone to Jungle Jim's second location and it was incredible. This one looks amazing too!!
Glad you went to the original. My family and I make the 2.5 hr drive 4-5 times a year to visit and shop. I’ve been going for 10+ years and still find something new to see!

Thanks for coming out - let me know next time you're coming and i'll try and show you some Jungle Jim's secrets!!!
Jungle Jim’s is awesome! I’ve never heard of it before.
Sam was so happy to find treats from the UK...❤️
It was so cute!!
Love Jungle Jim’s. If you can’t find it there it doesn’t exist.
I had never heard of Jungle Jim’s before, it looks awesome! Albanese gummies are the best! If one of your road trips ever take you to Chicago, you should stop at the Albanese factory store in Merrillville Indiana.
Happy Sam is in US and you guys do this really fun road trip! And he found him some snacks! Can’t wait to see what is next!
I can’t wait for Cedar Point. I haven’t been in MANY years! I distinctly remember the views of the Lake.
Vernor’s Ginger Ale is the BEST!! I hope you liked it too! You should go to Albanese since you’re traveling in the Midwest. You could also check out Fair Oaks Farm on the way back south….it’s near Albanese.
Can you imagine being the one in charge of inventory for Jungle Jim's? Do they give them free Xanax? LOL
Now ya know! A creator of HHN just using her hometown as imaginative fodder :)
I just love these! What a fun adventure! Thank you so much for sharing! 🥰❤️
LOVEEEEEE Jungle Jim's!! In college, all of our international friends would pile in a car and go there to stock up on stuff they missed from home.
That sounds like such good memories!
I love Jungle Jim’s. We try to go about once a year. We live 1.5-2 hrs away. Fairfield is the best
Now this is my kind of attraction, lol. I dont do coasters or Halloween scary stuff, but Jungle Jim's looks epic and I could spend hours and a fortune there!
It's all part of the journey
Jungle Jim's is awesome. The national air force museum is in Dayton Ohio. Albanese candy factory is in the Midwest, Merriville, IN just off I-65. have fun at Cedar Point.
It was so cool to see Sam so happy to find some of his favorite foods from home.
You need to go to the Albanese factory store in Merrillville, IN! 😋🤤

Jungle Jims is one of the most unique places on the planet.
that was the most amazing grocery store!!
These have been some of my favorite videos on YT this summer!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 that makes me so happy bc they’ve been my favorite videos to make!
Jungle Jim’s is by far the best themed store period!!! Never been there but I’ve watched many videos and plan to in the future hopefully 🙏🏻
That grocery store was insane in the best possible way! I want one near me!
Me toooo! If they had one in Orlando it would be completely nuts!
Jungle Jims has been on my to-do list for ages... I have been jealous of your amazing road trip but this just threw me over the edge. Too fun!
My used to be a truck driver and he got a lot of loads out of Middletown, OH he would stop in Jungle Jim’s he used to tell us about it all the time, now I can see he was right on how it was the most insane grocery store ever!

Welcome to Ohio, we love jungle Jim’s, such a fun experience.

Jungle Jim's is where it's at👍👍👍👍👍 I live in Indiana and go there a few times a year😊😊😊
The side trips on a road trip are the best.
Yes!!
Oh wow! My kids love Funko's they would be heaven in this place. Sam needs a PO Box so we can send him care packages from the UK lol
So cool! 😍 I love these videos. Jungle Jim's is so cool! 🔥
Love these travel videos.
Nice video Jackie! Sometime if you make your way up to Northern Indiana, you should go to the Albanese candy factory to get your gummy bears fresh! 😊
I've been wanting to go to that factory!!!
Great Video.
that is such a fantastic and accurate title for the store,,,,you can make some great finds
EPIC pit stop
I'm so glad you guys were able to get to Jungle Jim's! I loved to see how happy it made Sam!
It was soooo cute how happy he was with all his British treats!

Imagine Jungle Jim's being your local grocery store, the one you go to for your routine shopping trips, that would be fun!
I recommend, since you’re in Ohio, going to the Christmas Story house! Its so fun for fans of the movie :)
Also I’m glad you visited Jungle Jim’s. I’ve been wanting to go for a while and your video has made me more determined to try and get there!!
