We've been knowing that the west is behind the instability and insecurities in Afrika. The conflicts, whether religious, tribal, terrorist or otherwise were instigated by them. Now that they've been expelled, you're seeing rapid progress in eradicating the issue of terrorism, albeit that we still have some way to go. This is what the French have failed to do in so many decades, only because that was never the intention and they are being exposed. The same applies to economic growth, something the French were actively working against. If you need more examples, I'll be happy to break it down for you.

@@gibson2675 why are the Irish, Welsh and Scots writing in English? Because they were forced to speak English and have virtually lost any desire to speak in their native tongue, ie: fully conquered. Malian's still have knowledge of their native tongue and intend to make it the nation's PRIMARY language, alongside whatever "international language" may be popular at any given moment in time. The way things are going, that 2nd language will likely be Chinese or Russian - not European.

This is the reason the French run a shadow network of informal empires that control the banking, military, politics and trade of their colonies to date. They still hold the reserves for their currencies and print them at a premium cost. They also pay the rebel troops to cause instability in these countries. This has all been exposed since the formation of the SAHEL regional unity between Burkino Faso, Niger and Mali, who have expelled the French troops that were enabling the rebels. These countries are an example of what Afrika is capable of without western interference, they thrive despite the challenges of facing sanctions and having their neighboring countries turned against them for refusing to be fellow slaves of the west.

You are right but corruption in African leadership is far deeper than you see it played….
Corruption goes hand in hand with the Western interferences, Western Democracy, and the Western Puppets in the African leaderships…
Just take a look into Africa’s leadership history and you’ll find out how the corruption starts, with the puppetry because, the West encourages the corruption so that their puppets will serve them breathlessly…
They install the puppets just like they instigate and promote the terrorism in African nations, but the trick is, they pretend to help us fight the terrorists they create and turn a blind eye towards the corrupt leaders because they actually encourage our puppet leaders to keep our nations poor and underdeveloped, as part of the puppet deal…
They only allow them to promote development close to elections…
Democracy is actually neocolonialism riding on a dictatorial horse.

Maybe simplify the laws. One reason it is so difficult for people to get out of poverty in Africa is because of their bureaucracy. You want to open your own business or bring investments from outside? Saying that the paperwork is a massive pain in the rear is a huge understatement, and more than often officers demand special "gifts" in exchange for favors if you want your papers to take only weeks instead of months and even years to come out, and that's not considering the costs associated with the whole process; unless you are like really close, as in politically connected, to those in charge.
